Villa de Leaf is a riverside resort located in the heart of Kaeng Krachan, offering some of the most stunning river views I have ever seen. The river, bordered by lush greenery, naturally flows alongside a nearby hill, and the resort provides various seating areas for guests to fully enjoy the scenery. We stayed in the contemporary family room, which is spacious and comfortably accommodates four adults. The beds are very comfortable. However, there is room for improvement, as the room lacks a proper seating area, such as a sofa. The bathroom is roomy, featuring a large bathtub and an outdoor jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the toilet placement leans too far to the left side of the room, which may be inconvenient for larger adults like myself. It’s also worth noting that the resort is located within a lush forest, so insects and their predators may occasionally enter your room. They’re harmless, but it’s good to be prepared. The food, especially the dinner, is a highlight of the hotel—delicious and reasonably priced. There’s also an outdoor pool, though I didn’t have the chance to use it due to the rain. The owners and staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, always greeting you with a smile and going out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. Despite a few minor drawbacks, we had a wonderful experience at Villa de Leaf. I highly recommend this place for those seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of nature.
