Best Western John Day Inn ★★★

"I really like this Best Western, The front desk is super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast quality is better than other Best Western. hotels in a mountain town, so it is much quieter than those chain hotels near the highway."

John Day Motel ★★

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The motel is close to the downtown area and its shops and restaurants. This facility is a good value for the price. The room was clean and comfortable. It is only a short walk to the Cam Wah Chung State Heritage Site and Visitor Center, and well worth the visit."

Sunset Inn - John Day ★★

Budget 8 Motel ★★

"The room was clean and clean (which was a bit dated) and quietly located."

Dreamers Lodge ★★

"An older hotel, not the best but our choices were limited, and they were very kind, caring, helpful and hospitable. We cannot fault the service in any way. So, in short not the best accommodation, but clean, gave us good advice and information, the motor bikers were very friendly too."
