My wife and I reserved a room for a long weekend. She loves Jekyll and it was our anniversary so we splurged. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. The highlight of the trip was dinner at Willet's Lowcountry. The food was great and the service was extraordinary! A big thank you to Kayon for that! He made the experience better than expected.

Front desk lied about early check-in. We called ahead because we were buying groceries and wanted to make sure the room was ready and was told our room was ready for early checkin. Get there and they said it wasn't ready and had to wait 40 mins for our room. I had cold food that needed to be put in the fridge. Then the fridge in room was broken, asked for a different one, but the second one was broke too. Exhaust fan in bathroom doesn't work ( we had the exact same room last year and told them the exhaust fan didn't work... a year later and they still didn't fix it!. The silver coating on the Faucets at sink are pealing off. Carpets in hallways have large rips in them, bath drain was broke, elevator certification not up to date- it is expired by more than 4 months and one elevator makes horrible creaking sounds when in use. Maids are talking loudly in the halls at 7:00 in the morning. We've stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past, but this will be our last stay at the Hampton on Jekyll Island. The rooms cost too much for things to be broken, and not work. This hotel is really going downhill. There was a dead snake on the patio for a whole day that the staff never removed. We still love Jekyll Island, although every year we go there are more people.... but this hotel and service in not recommended any more.

Once our room location was rearranged, all things fell into place. Jekyll is steeped in history that needs to be sought out, beautiful drives lined with spanish moss trees, and beautiful spots for ”down time”, and, and, and. Enjoyed the hotel's beautiful waterfront walkways, inviting lounge chairs, on-site eateries and other island selections. Breakfast staff greeted us as though they were welcoming us home!! Excellent service and attention. Cuodos! We will definitely return! Soon!

My wife and I decided on a short four day getaway to relax. Again the stay was great. When we arrived we were met at the front desk by Trista a manager that was very helpful and kind. The room was very clean when we arrived and housekeeping personnel were all quite friendly. During our stay several people at the front desk we came across were also always very helpful and polite. Those people being Brandi, Sierra and Bob. Breakfast each morning was not a buffet but was good with many options. We were very happy with everyone and everything. Pool and hot tub very relaxing. Hated to leave at the end of the trip because of the fun we had. We will soon be back here for some more fun. Thanks to everyone at Home2 suites for a great time. See you all soon.
