"We stayed 3 nights and I must say unfortunately only 3 nights. The Relais is an old tower that is completely renovated and surrounded by a wonderful and well maintained garden with a large swimming pool. The rooms are spacious. The staff is fantastic and very service minded. The restaurant is great, serving tasteful dishes cooked with only biological and fresh ingredients. Their wines are from the Marbino winery. Recommended by the restaurant staff, we visited the winery to do a wine tasting. A great tip, great experience. Relais Torre Marabino is a beautiful resort that is perfectly located to explore the south east of Sicily. Cities like Noto, Syracusa etc are all in driving distance."

"The place is very nice, I've been there before. The rooms are not very big but sufficient. I always find one criticism to make, the breakfast is very poor. Both in terms of service and in terms of quality and quantity of the offer. The area has a lot of excellent things to offer, and finding products from large discount stores is disappointing."

"Unique designed accommodation located in a farming setting. There are a variety of styles in this small community, some with basic kitchen facilities. The delicious breakfast buffet included homemade breads and cakes! Daily housekeeping kept the facility spotless. Although the pool was chilly in October, we enjoyed swimming in warm seas at the local beaches. The hosts were exceptionally attentive to the needs of guests. Many thanks Hilaria. This was a handy location for visiting the historic sites of Ragusa and Noto as well as for WW2 Operation Husky sites near Ispica and Pachino."

"I was with my family 10 days in the end of June in this magical place, which tells us that we were crying the heart when we arrived at the end of our holidays... Before months I dreamed of this place through the posts that Francesca published on social, But until you stand, you will not realize what you expect, a dive in the nature with its sounds, its colors and its parfums; and We have stayed in the top tent of Mandor, with all comfort. Unforgettable sunset from the tent terrace or the common relaxing space, a super-rich and very good breakfast (we still dream of those cakes!), evening chats with Francesca and her family, animals ... A beautiful holiday! Vanessa & family"

"Firstly I have to say the photography advertising the hotel is very well done as its not like this in reality, its very shabby and definitely needs an update. When we arrived the staff were very welcoming and very friendly 10/10 ,couldn't of asked for more. We took our luggage through the hotel to outside where we were staying in what looked like wooden shacks . The room was very dull and didn't feel clean especially with what looked like slugs in ceiling lights . When going for breakfast we were greeted with caribineri (police) every morning who seem to be using this hotel as headquarters . Breakfast was as basic as it comes . You definitely need a car here as it will drive you nuts being stuck here ,infact so we decided to go to Malta for a break from this shabby uninteresting hotel. Definitely not 4star and would definitely not recommend it apart from Staff ."

"Kinanto is a calm, relaxing, off the beaten track place to stay, just outside the unassuming baroque town of Ispica. Lovely Hilaria runs the place with skill and charm … and is always ready to impart good advice on where to go and where to eat. She makes the best breakfast on Sicily too! Day trips from Kinanto not to be missed are : Modica, Noto, Marzamemi and sumptuous Ortigia. Just so you know, the motorway from Catania down to Ispica is not yet a toll road as it remains unfinished … so it’s good to use it if travelling down from Catania Airport or going up to Ortigia for the day. We loved our stay here … our spacious split level apartment had a great kitchen and the pool was usually a haven of tranquility. A memorable stay. Thank you so much."
