The condominium is a third-floor walkup, fully furnished unit overlooking the tropical setting of Olympic size pool and Activity Center. At the present time the pool & activity center are under new ownership and in the process of renovation. Sea Trail has two pools and a gym which are available to guest staying at the condominium. Sunset Beach is a short 1+- mile bike ride or drive from the unit. Sunset Beach has been rated by National Geographic as one of the top 21 beaches in the WORLD. With no one above you, this ''penthouse'' offers extra privacy and a balcony for a morning cup of coffee or an evening cocktail with sunset views. Welcome to Carolina Sunset. This ocean view, kid-friendly rental is ideally located on the quiet island of Sunset Beach, NC. Our home is very close to the pier, market, ice cream shop, equipment rentals and of course, the beach! The front porch offers stunning views of both the ocean and the amazing NC coastal sunset/rise. Warm summer nights can be spent listening to the ocean from the rocking chair porch or exploring the island by foot or bike. Our home is a short drive to golf, Calabash, Little River and Myrtle Beach but without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle.Indoor Space:This well-appointed condo comes ready with everything you could need. The large bedroom has a King bed, en-suite full bath with tub, rocking chair with foot stool and a sitting bench. Second room has 2 Queen beds with full bath (2 steps across the hall) with walk-in shower. The living room has a couch that expands to a Queen sleeper sofa-bed. The full kitchen, dining room and living room boast a large open floor plan lending to a fantastic gathering space. Our dining room table seats 6 and there are 2 additional barstools at the kitchen counter over-hang. The kitchen comes fully stocked with cookware, dishes, cups, utensils and an assortment of spices to get you started. In addition to the usual kitchen appliances, available to you is a dual coffee maker, allowing both drip coffee or single serve (K-cup compatible). Our house has a dishwasher and full washer and dryer. Complete linens are also provided. There will be a starter set of commonly used items, as well as a few snacks waiting for you on the kitchen counter. There are many books, puzzles, kid toys and games available for your use. Each room contains a wall-mounted flat screen Roku TV. YoutubeTV Cable and wi-fi are also provided. There is a pack and play, small high-chair and umbrella stroller available for those with children. Beach towels are provided. Extra blankets are provided.Outdoor Space:Parking at our home is free and can fit up to 3 standard size vehicles. Our designated parking is underneath the building (see picture) and allows for vehicles to be parked in a single line. There is an outdoor shower (hot/cold water) and a storage room for guests. Some beach chairs, an umbrella and bikes are provided. There are a couple of ride-on kid toys, small plastic kiddie pool and beach wagon. There are also 4 patio chairs to use in the covered area for lounging.All guests will receive our electronic welcome book prior to arrival. This will contain important information as it relates to our property, your stay and important things to know. It will also include our suggestions of things to do and places to eat, as well as resources for services available in the area. There will be a printed version available at the condo.Guests will access our home during their stay via a unique code for the keyless smart-lock. For parents with children: there is a manual safety lock high up on the inside of the front door. There is one outward facing Ring doorbell camera on our front door.Please note that this is a top-floor unit. There are approximately 30 stairs to get to our front door. This unit is unfortunately NOT handicap accessible.We also own a golf ball business. We're always improving the house - we recently added a new fridge and microwave, did some painting, and created a shuffleboard courtINDOOR LIVING:The kitchen is well-stocked because we live here - with good knives and cutting boards, coffee paraphernalia, and fun stuff like a panini maker, a whirly pop (which will forever spoil you for microwave popcorn), and of course a blender and toaster and lots of good pots and pans.
