Minutes from Juniata Valley Winery (literally only 3 miles down the road) and Port Royal Speedway (8 miles).Make this your Home Away From Home! This is a finished basement with all the comforts of home. Full kitchen, large livingroom, bedroom and 3/4 bath. Enjoy watching the chickens and goats grazing in the meadow. There's a swingset outside that your children are welcome to use. Build a campfire in the fire ring and roast hotdogs and marshmallows for supper!To help muffle the chaos and commotion of normal family life, we did as much sound proofing as possible. We will try to keep the noise down in the mornings but please be aware......... we live here and you WILL hear us! Other things to note:The basement is yours, with the exception of the small cold storage room that goes off the kitchen. Also the water heater and furnace room goes off the bathroom. Within 1 mile to either the Midway Drive In Theater and flea market or the PA Fish Commission’s MIfflintown boat launch. Located 4 miles to MIfflintown which hosts many dining opportunities, pubs, retail stores and groceries. It’s a mere 7 miles to Lost Creek Golf Course and 8 miles to Port Royal Speedway. For the die hard Nittany Lions fans it’s 42 mile drive to Penn States Beaver Stadium. We have kayaks, rafts, floats and fishing equipment rentals available. This house is a spacious home that will suit the whole family. It also has outdoor living space and a pool. Your will enjoy the quiet country feel yet close to outdoor events and entertainment. Our breezeway gives you a great view of the Cocolamus dam, farming fields and a passing by amish horse and buggy. There is also access to the garage where there are extra fishing poles, yard games and bicycles to use during your stay.The spaceThis is a 2 story, newly remodeled home. The first floor has a half bath just off of the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, serving dishes and more. There is plenty of dish-ware to serve your entire group. Enjoy sitting at our 2 seater coffee bar where you can participate in kitchen or dining room conversation. The dining room features a table sitting 6-8 guests comfortably. Just off of the dining room you will find the living room. There is a love seat with 2 electric recliners, a sofa with 2 electric recliners and a matching chair. You will find a second living room which sits 4-5 people. There is a desk in this room as well as a piano. It also has plenty of games, puzzles and books to choose from.Our country home is handicapped accessible. You will find a stair chair that will assist those that need help getting to the second floor. Once on the second floor you will find three bedrooms and a full bath:Bedroom 1 has 1 king bed, TV, dresser and a full-length mirror.Bedroom 2 has 1 queen bed, TV, dresserBedroom 3 has1 bunk bed (twin over full), 1 single bed, dresser, TV.
