Built in the 1974, the cabin has unique carvings at the ends of the roof purlins and on the front porch, with views of Mount Denali and the Talkeetna Range. It is located a beautiful 27 mile drive south of Denali National Park. While a view of Denali can be elusive to summer visitors, at our cabin, you can step out on the porch at any hour to see if the mountain is on display. Reindeer Mountain Cabin is approximately 1200 SF and has two bedrooms, each with one queen size bed. One bedroom has a full en suite bathroom. The second full bathroom has a washer and dryer and is located off of the hallway for ease of access. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, with plenty of seating and views of the Talkeetna Mountains. The kitchen is stocked with basic pantry staples and condiments.The cabin was originally part of Reindeer Mountain Lodge, built in the 70's and ran until the 90's, servicing the workers that built the intertie through our area. After sitting abandoned and full of storage for over a decade, the deteriorating lodge was deconstructed and the cabin was gutted and renovated.
