The house is located in Hasenfeld a popular district of Heimbach on the edge of the National Park Nordeifel. Every year, the chamber music festival "Tensions" in the Art Nouveau power plant is organized, which is only a few hundred meters from the house and thus within easy walking distance. The landscape photographs in the description have been created near the holiday home. You can start hiking in the Eifel directly at the house. Also in the wider area there are many destinations and a wonderful landscape. Not far from the house you can take a boat trip on the Rursee, to Rurberg or Woffelsbach, on the other side of the lake. The Nürburgring is about 70km and day trips to Trier, Koblenz, to the Mosel, to Aachen or Cologne and also to Holland, Belgium or Luxembourg are easily possible.
