You must try the beef noodles; they were honestly better than many outside restaurants! The service was excellent across the board, from the restaurant to the front desk. It isn’t in the center of Xiangyang’s busiest streets, but you’re within a comfortable walk or short ride to key spots, plus there are eateries nearby that aren’t overhyped tourist traps. Room and comfort - The room itself was a solid 4-star vibe: tidy, well-lit, and surprisingly quiet for a hotel in what feels like a busy area. The bed was comfortable—firm enough to support a good night’s sleep but soft enough that you don’t feel like you’re lying on a board. - Amenities: Decent desk space if you’re traveling for work, reliable Wi-Fi, and a reasonable layout. The bathroom was clean with good water pressure and a practical layout. A few small things felt a touch “budget-first” like standard toiletries and a shower curtain rather than a glass enclosure—but nothing deal-breaking. - Cleanliness: Overall good. One of the hotel crew FangFang, willingly helped us washed and dry our laundry and put it back in our room, dropping us a handwritten note. It was a very nice gesture from her and she didn't want anything in return. We felt touched by her actions and just wanted to give a shout out to her good service.
