Nice hotel in Matsuyama as a stop over before/ after the Shimanami Kaido bike ride. Very close (3 mins) to station and bike rental. They have an onsen which is very small (fits 2 people comfortably) but nice, although you have to request a time at the reception desk before you go. Free breakfast is free for a reason, no one would pay for it, Japanese people seemed happy but we as westerners didn’t enjoy it (but it’s free so can’t complain too much). Room was nice, bed comfy, and bathroom clean. Free welcome drinks.

This hotel is practically a Ross the street from Imabari Station and a great place to start or finish the Shimanami Kaido. Staff were friendly, and you got a free welcome drink. There is also a decent breakfast available. The room was a clean and comfortable space. I would stay here again if I visit Imabari again!

I stayed here before starting cycling on the Shimanami Kaido. The location was superb, near both the JR station and bike rental station so it’s very good choice for biker. Their breakfast also great as well.

Make sure you keep the air purifier and ac turned on and running because I turned it off and I woke up nauseous, dizzy, and heart rate raised. I raised concerns but the front desk said there’s nothing they can do since they can’t change rooms :/

We were told that the onsen was closed. Which must have been a misunderstanding, as we used it later and it was great. Got a nice welcome drink - even though it was form the machine, it was a nice gesture. Location was perfect next to the train station and not far from the Henro pilgrimee temple

Excellent and affordable hotel to stay after cycling from Onomichi to Imabari. There is an onsen, breakfast included, massage chair for free and drinks from 15:00 to 21:00 . Highly recommend although the room are simple . Location is excellent, just across from the Imabari train station. It is my second time there .

Typical old Japanese business hotel. The staff was helpful. The TV was very tiny and old. A unit bath in the room. The public bath was small. Overall, it is good for the price with breakfast included. They offer rental bikes too.
