Check in was very smooth. The place was also beautiful. The service was nothing short of excellent. We had a lot of help with booking taxis, booking of ferry tickets etc. overall the staff was very helpful and professional. Travellers here are also friendly. 10/10 would recommend staying here if you’re ever in Taitung.

Era un edificio encantador, aunque un poco fuera de lugar en la calle frente al mercado. La habitación era pequeña pero bien diseñada, y la falta de televisión y nevera no supuso ningún problema. Había una agradable cocina compartida, una sala de estar y una lavandería en el sótano, lo cual fue muy práctico, ya que quería lavar la ropa y podía dejar mi maleta allí. Me confundió un poco el sistema de inserción de monedas (hay que alinearlas verticalmente en las ranuras). Hay un PX Mart cerca, lo que resulta conveniente para estancias largas, y está cerca de la terminal de autobuses y con fácil acceso al centro de la ciudad. Fue una pena que el agua se extendiera por el suelo al ducharme, empapando la alfombrilla del baño, y que encontrara un mapa de tiendas recomendadas junto a la recepción antes de irme, pero aparte de eso, la estancia fue muy cómoda.

I highly recommend this hotel for all travellers, especially foreigners - note I was a self-drive so the location wasn't an issue. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a lovely young lady who came outside to show me my car space. Her equally-lovely colleague then assisted in checking me in and making me feel very welcome. I was given a map of the local area and some suggested eating spots. They also helped in charging my phone. The girls' spoke enough English to help me, and the breakfast at a nearby cafe was great. The room was exactly what I needed - a very clean room, comfortable bed, and nice warm shower. I am going to stay again next time I visit beautiful Taiwan.

El hotel ofrece habitaciones limpias, pero existe cierta confusión respecto al término ”habitación con cama doble”. No está claro si el hotel o Trip.com son responsables de usar este término para describir una habitación con una sola cama grande, lo que puede confundir a los huéspedes que buscan dos camas separadas. El sitio web debería aclarar esta terminología para evitar inconvenientes. Los huéspedes no deberían tener que dejar notas adicionales al reservar, ya que la opción de habitación debería ser evidente entre las disponibles.

The check in process using the machine is a bit complicated for a foreigner. The keys to the locker in the dormitory should be available immediately, instead of going to another place to rent the key. Might be a good idea to switch the lockers that are used in museums where insertion of a coin to lock or a pin code locker would be better.

Pros: well established Naruwan Group. Fantastic shower water pressure after a tiring day. Cons: the original booked hotel was closed for upgrading and i was not informed. The whole building was closed when i arrived. I immediately call the hotel through trip.com and the receptionist informed that they has arranged for a room at the hotel next door (also Naruwan Group’s hotel). I was expecting a paddy field view room but i was assigned to the room facing heavy industrial lots. Other than that, it was a good stat at Naruwan Hotel and value for money.

I have mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, and they deserve to be praised, but there is a clear problem in how the hotel is managed. First of all, an hotel that large, with just one elevator. That is just nuts. Each time we needed to use it, it was at least 5-10 minutes wait, if not more. Also the hotel is clearly understaffed. For breakfast, one of the days there were more than 100 people in the room, with just 1 person to check-in people. The line was just unbearable. It seems the rooms were renovated not that long ago, but it was clearly a faulty renovation. The isolation is poor to non existent given the rain sounds makes it difficult to sleep. And don't get me started with the air isolation, which it directly none. If the wind blows, a breeze flows into the room, causing the curtains to make noise all day long. To be fair also, the location is convenient, just across the street from the bus station, so taking transportation to/from the train station, or along the amazing east coast was easy and quick. All in all, not an awful stay, but I am sure there are better options in the same price range with better overall quality.

L'hôtel était bien situé, c'est vraiment son point fort avec la disponibilité des vélos. Les chambres sont grandes et relativement propres mais assez vieillottes et vides. Le lit est confortable. La salle de bain fonctionnelle. Le petit déjeuner est correct. L'isolation est à revoir par contre, tant pour les perturbations sonores que pour les odeurs de cigarettes des voisins. En conclusion c'est un hôtel correct mais quand même assez cher pour ce que c'est...

El servicio del personal de Taiwán es muy bueno. Como la relación de reparación me ayudó a mejorar la habitación. Normalmente 1F Hay una máquina de café para los turistas que tomar por sí mismos. Si necesitas desayuno y 100 yuan a 10F cocinar con la ayuda para comer el salón es muy conveniente. Está muy cerca del mercado de la noche turística, el próximo regreso a Taiwán volverá a elegir esta alojamiento.
