This resort was beautiful- the suites super nice, comfortable, well equipped with all of the amenities you need to eat, enjoy a glass of wine and appetizers from the balcony, or change and head out to the many Waikiki attractions in very easy walking distance. Located within the Hilton Islander resort, with multiple properties, shops, pools, bars & easy access to the ocean, you have everything you could need. This included grocery stores, restaurants, bars, music, clothing, stores, sunscreen, beach, towels, beach rentals – you name it, it was close by. It also was proximately located to many public transit hubs, so it was very easy to catch either the Hawaii trolley – a magical experience, taking you all over the island on a hop on hop off basis, or Da Bus (as they call it) for long trips around the island at a very affordable rate. The concierge desk was extremely helpful and always had great suggestions for things to do, and there were many. The only complaint we had is that the Hilton staff was overly aggressive than trying to book timeshare presentation. As owners, with no interest in expanding our property holdings, we had to politely refuse seven different approaches, I can understand one or two, but at that point there needs to be a way to make a note in the system to cut off additional requests. With that said, this definitely ranked among our most favorite resorts to visit. Oh did I mention it also had a washer dryer in the unit, and although we didn’t have ocean views, our mountain views were stunning with rainbows and clouds and the twinkling lights of nightime Waikiki.
