Un hotel recomendado por Trip.com. Ofrece habitaciones amplias y un ambiente agradable. Además, está conectado con un centro comercial y una estación de MTR, lo que lo convierte en una ubicación estratégica para alojarse.

Se han abordado las observaciones que hice al reservar. El tamaño de la habitación es muy bueno. Está cerca de tiendas y transporte. Consideraré reservarlo de nuevo en el futuro.

La limpieza fue bastante descuidada, ya que había pelos en la pared de la ducha y en las sábanas cuando llegué. No me quitaron el pelo de la ducha en toda mi estancia. El pasillo es oscuro y estrecho. Hay obras en la misma planta, justo al lado de la habitación donde me alojé, y en un momento dado los taladros eléctricos se pusieron muy ruidosos. El hotel ni siquiera debería haber dejado que los huéspedes se alojaran en esa habitación. El barrio es bastante remoto y triste. No hay nada alrededor, salvo un centro comercial anodino, y hay que coger el metro para ir a cualquier sitio. El té en bolsitas era el peor que he probado en ningún hotel. Es decir, ¿qué tan soso puede llegar a ser un té de desayuno inglés? Y ellos lo consiguieron. ¿Y el café instantáneo Maxwell en un hotel de cinco estrellas? El personal suele ser irresponsable. No es la actitud ni el servicio que esperarías de un hotel de cinco estrellas. Las cortinas también eran molestas, pues había que manipularlas manualmente cada vez, y el algodón está colocado por dentro en lugar de por fuera, lo que significa que hay que manipularlas para correr las que realmente importan. No es para tanto, pero uno pensaría que un hotel de cinco estrellas de IHG tendría mejor diseño. La terraza con vistas estaba cerca, la piscina también. No hay nada que recomendar.

Stayed for two nights at Crowne Plaza, arrived from our trip to Chaoshan and Guangzhou. Convenient location directly connected to Tseung Kwan O MTR station. Room was spacious and well maintained and clean. Service staff were helpful.

Excellent service! Based on passport details, the hotel noted that one of the guests was celebrating her birthday during the stay and left a pleasant surprise: a mini cake with fruits! My daughter thoroughly enjoyed using the bath, a luxury in HK hotels.  Although the hotel is not near Central or Mongkok area, it is a 2-minute walk to Tseung Kwan O MTR station (30 min to Admiralty/Central). Its also linked to multiple malls with plenty of food and shopping options, all without having to brave the elements. Also close to Sai Kung area with seafood restaurants and natural scenary.  Highly recommended for tourists who want to get away from the noise and crowd in the touristy areas.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk to MTR station. A lot of restaurants and shops to choose from. Will choose this hotel next time.

Beautiful Hotel, shame a lot of sections were under construction but our stay was still good. We got upgraded which was really nice and the room was stunning. My husband really enjoyed the room we had and the staff were really helpful and attentive. Some of the housekeeping staff did struggle with English but most of the reception/restaurant team were fluent. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will likely come back.

Stay: mid-November 2025 (exactly when the 15th National Games were being co-hosted in Hong Kong and Guangdong) I chose this hotel for its convenient location (right above East Point City and PopCorn mall, only 20 minutes by MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui) and because Crowne Plaza usually delivers consistent quality. Unfortunately, the entire hotel was practically taken over by mainland Chinese sports delegations, provincial teams and officials, for the National Games. It was 100 % full and felt more like an athletes’ dormitory than a regular hotel. The elevator situation was a nightmare There are only four guest elevators. With hundreds of athletes, coaches, and staff moving around at the same times every day, waiting 5–10 minutes (sometimes 15) for a lift became completely normal. Twice I ended up squeezed into an absolutely packed elevator with mainland competitors who were wearing single-ear headsets (the kind security and team staff use). Fifteen-plus people crammed in, barely able to breathe, total awkward silence the whole ride. Dining was even worse Breakfast buffets turned into a free-for-all with large groups of athletes in tracksuits. I tried having dim sum at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, Cest La Vie, I found myself competing with dozens of athletes for tables and food. Queues for everything, dishes emptied the moment they came out, and the replenishment speed simply couldn’t keep up. As a paying guest, it felt like I had accidentally walked into a private team canteen. Rooms were clean, the view from higher floors (Tseung Kwan O bay) was nice, and the usual IHG amenities were all there. The staff were clearly trying their best, but they were completely overwhelmed by the sheer volume of people. Bottom line Under normal circumstances, Crowne Plaza Kowloon East is probably a solid, comfortable choice. But when the hotel is effectively block-booked by massive mainland sports delegations during events like the National Games, the experience for regular travelers is miserable. Next time there’s a big mainland Chinese event or competition using this hotel as official accommodation, I’ll happily pay extra to stay in Tsim Sha Tsui or Central instead. Word of advice: if you see this hotel fully booked during any major Chinese sporting or government event, think twice!

Good price for good clean hotel. Close to locations and good service

staying during lobby rennovation. the front a little uglier than usual. room is good and clean, bed comfy, good sleep. location excellent if you know where you are staying, not for first-timer in HK. besides that not much service to speak of. will stay again mainly because of the specific location that I need easy access for and the comfy bed. other than that it's OK.

I booked a room that can't be cancelled and modified. However, my guest couldn't come to HK on the specific day. I called the hotel, and they told me you cannot change the guest name. I called the TRIP customer service and she told me I could actually add one more guest name. Finally I could check in at the hotel and enjoy one night, so that I didn't waste the money I have paid. Thanks so much to TRIP customer service and they really provide a nice service. Very helpful. Thank you!
