XxQueenA Truly Wonderful Escape - One of My Favorites!
This villa is absolutely wonderful and has easily become one of my favorite hotels. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home.
The villa itself is clean and super spacious, offering plenty of room to relax. The beautiful scenery and good atmosphere create a quiet and peaceful environment that is perfect for a getaway. It’s the ideal place to unwind.
The service is wonderful—prompt, and the staff are so nice and friendly. They truly go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We also enjoyed breakfast offered by the hotel.
A couple of minor points to note for a longer stay: the breakfast menu seems to be the same daily. While the quality is good, if you are staying for more than two nights, you might find the lack of variety a little boring.
Furthermore, a small personal regret was that while the room is equipped with a private hot spring, the weather was too cold and the water wasn't heated, so we weren't able to use it. That was a bit of a letdown.
The only other consideration is that the location is a little inconvenient and requires a bit of travel to get to and from main areas.
However, these are small trade-offs for the incredible peace and quality you receive. I would highly recommend staying here if you don't mind the travel distance. We can't wait to return.

UUsuario invitadoWe had a very special stay at Muxu Wilderness Luxury Resort Hotel in Jinghong.
The communication via WeChat was outstanding: fast, reliable, and very attentive. When requests were communicated clearly, the team implemented everything promptly and with great care. The airport pick-up and drop-off service, the city shuttle, and the organization of day trips (including drivers) were excellent and very convenient.
At breakfast, individual preferences were accommodated, and the coffee was the best we’ve had in a long time. The hotel restaurant impressed overall with high-quality cuisine and fair beverage prices. A reservation is necessary, but the staff reliably reminds you each day.
The rooms were very clean upon arrival. During our stay, it was helpful to communicate small requests – such as fresh coffee cups or a freshly made bed – which were always handled politely. We feel this aligns with the shorter stays of most guests, while we stayed for a full week, making such coordination useful.
The included afternoon tea was surprisingly generous (a large tray with fries, fruit, cakes, and drinks). The night soup, served as a sweet dessert, was also included. The air conditioning worked perfectly.
Pool and terrace are beautifully designed and ideal for sunset photoshoots. For longer lounging, however, there is no shade, and the balcony is fully exposed to the sun all day.
Conveniently, there are two small shops within walking distance offering chilled drinks and snacks.

3320599****La habitación tenía un balcón amplio, ideal para familias con niños, ya que podía lavar y secar la ropa. El dueño también fue muy atento y, en general, fue una experiencia fantástica. La habitación era exactamente lo que se esperaba; aunque se anunciaba como habitación con vistas a la ciudad, se podía ver el río Lancang. Estaba bien equipada y convenientemente ubicada en el complejo Peacock Tower en Xishuangbanna, muy cerca del Mercado Nocturno Starlight, a solo unos minutos a pie, o unos diez minutos si se camina despacio. En la planta baja había muchas opciones gastronómicas deliciosas, como estofado de champiñones y barbacoa estilo Dai. Además, había muchos conductores y grupos de turistas muy amables cerca, lo que facilitaba el acceso a las atracciones turísticas. Me alojé en la casa cuatro días y cada vez me gustaba más; ¡incluso me daban ganas de irme! 😂

DDhanya KimberleyI booked 2 hotels in this area, for half of the week each. I had chosen them both due to their pools and beautiful looking rooms/facilities.
The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive to my messages on WeChat. However, they admitted it was their first time having non-Chinese guests and there were various issues that they needed to improve. The tea ceremony left my parents confused, as there was no translation tool used, and very little explanation as to the session. In other situations, I have had tea ceremonies that involve explanation of how the tea is made, how it should be drunk, what sort of people drink this type of tea etc. (To overcome the disappointment of this, we were gifted a pack of the delicious tea however).
We selected this hotel based on the pool facilities mostly and were very disappointed to arrive to dirt-filled pool water that had branches and other debris inside. The staff were very apologetic and explained the recent storms caught them unawares. However, little action was taken to clean the pools until I raised this matter. When we went to the second hotel of my choice, they had more pools, all of which were clean and full of water, even though the same storm would have hit them.
The photo shoot was great, and the photographer was excellent. The rooms were comfortable and the seating area was nice. We did not use the sitting area within the pool section however, due to the dirty pool etc.
The breakfast was only served to us on our first day, and then a buffet on the second day. For us, we personally preferred the buffet so that we could select our portion sizes ourselves.
I think over time, the staff will become more confident with foreign guests and this resort will be greatly enjoyed.

UUsuario invitadoStaff were all really welcoming. Check-in was smooth. As for the room, it was a steal. Great value, clean and tidy. Also it comes with a free pool on level 5.
Location is in the heart of the city. Delicious local foods are in walkable distance. My partner and I went out at 10pm and there was still a decent amount of food and fruits available. I especially love the variety of tropical fruits.
