"The husband/wife management team were quite friendly and the service was excellent. And while we enjoyed this boutique hotel we found the price quite high for the amenities offered. We paid around $175 US a night, including taxes and fees. The room was fine but a fan in the room would have gone a long way to making us comfortable in the unexpected heatwave. The breakfast was fine. Great location that allowed us to easily explore Hof. We’d go back and stay at this hotel again if the price were lower. $175 a night is simply too much. "

"We went to the hotel during August when it was 27-30 degrees. The room had no ac. It was hot in the room, you had to open the windows during the night but then you could hear a lot of traffic from the street, it was difficult to sleep. The minibar was full but not cold at all. the room had a special smell, it smelled like old furniture or old carpet. they were a bit stingy with body products, there was only a tiny little bottle that you use for both body and hair."

"Very nice hotel that appears to be run by a family. Nice location near the city center. Large courtyard off the reception and platz in front of the entrance. There was plenty of parking nearby. Both people I dealt with while staying here were extremely helpful in any needs I had. The breakfast was smaller, but very fresh and definitely sufficient to many people’s needs. My wife is vegatarian and had no problem finding enough to eat in a quantity and variety that made her happy. The rooms were decorated in a more modern motif and of a very descent size, to include the bathroom. I would suggest this hotel to friends. It’s only real downside was it didn’t have a elevator. But the stairs were nice and wide and our room was on the first floor, second floor for Americans. It wasn’t bad at all. I am sure if you needed help with your bags. They would help."
