Kin Hotel Dong Du has the best team. All of them are always smiling and ever ready to help you! Thank you for the complimentary room upgrade to the biggest room in the entire property. Pros: 1) Good room size (upgraded). A very clean room and their bed was firm enough, pillows are thick but too soft for my preference (used to memory foam). The room has great shower pressure and a super warm water temperature available. 2) Best service from all staff! 3) They have complimentary mini pastries at the lobby waiting area. The ham croissant was quite good. 4) Location is very good. And the 2 Japanese restaurants opposite the hotel are great! Cons: 1) Our room had very bad water drainage. A 10-minute shower is enough to cause a flood in the shower area, and the next person will need to wait for another 15 minutes to have a shower. 2) Aircon fan has a faint siren-like sound. It's kind of irritating if you need silence to sleep. 3) Soundproofing is non-existent. Can hear the neighbours closing door, walking the stairs, anyone talking along the main areas. 4) Breakfast is at their other hotel, about a 3-minute walk. There's nothing great about the food, though. (Go for the street noodle soup stall at the corner instead. So good. And there is a Tanaka coffee, so good!)
