InterContinental Hefei

This was my first time staying at the Intercontinental Hotel in Hefei during a long flight transit. We arrived around midnight-12am and the staff was very friendly and efficient in assisting us with check-in. Their warm service made the late-night arrival much smoother and comfortable!

This was our first time staying at an IHG property and boy were we impressed! The check in staff gave us a surprise room upgrade and a cake for my birthday staycation. The corner room #1501, with a 180 degree view of the Swan Lake, have birthday signages by the headboard and on the tv, a birthday song playing on loop, and amusing swan towels on the bed. Nice and thoughtful touches! The Club Intercontinental lounge provided a generous selection of afternoon tea snacks and light dinner spread. However, we gave a low grade on the drinks selection, the wine and liquor choices were fairly limited. But the lovely staff made up for it with their excellent and attentive service. I had a relaxing massage at the Yixi Spa, but take note that the pricing is on the high side. The indoor pool was nice and clean, manned by an attentive lifeguard. Breakfast variety was pretty good, delicately balanced between local fares and Western comfort food. It was a wonderful birthday weekend from start to finish, definitely coming back here for another stay! 🌟

Fantastic location as it is right opposite to iconic Swan Lake. Staff is very polite and friendly. Room is very clean and neatly organized. Breakfast is fantastic with wide variety of options. There are two restaurants for lunch and dinner.Many could speak English making it.very convenient to ask some details. There is a Starbucks right inside as well.as a large comfortable lobby to relax.There is also powebank station near the lift on each floor in case anybody has forgotten the charging cables. Overall nice hotel.

On par with the intercontinental brand. Excellent service all through

Intercontinental is definitely a brand name you can rely on. Location is convenient and the view is inspiring overlooking the swanlake park. Room is spacious and being a member of IHG, got myself an upgrade to a huge 2.4m bed with welcome drink and fruit basket. The coffee is as good as home grind and the staff are friendly and informative. This is definitely the hotel to be whenever you're in the vicinity.
