Kahana Villa

Kahana is a great location if you want a little peace of mind from the busy more touristed area of Kaanapali. Amapola at the front desk at the Kahana Beach resort has the true meaning and spirit of Aloha. The beach here is not that busy as some of the other beaches in the area. We will definitely return back to Kahana.

Great location. Across street from beach and can walk to local shops and eateries. A Maui bus stop is a little walk down the street and runs on time to a tee. The room was clean and stayed sufficiently cool. Great place to stay. Recommended for couples.

This is definitely an older condo. Check your sheets before bed. Found a fairly good size spider, small dried blood stain along edge of sheet. Make sure you grocery shop before hand. Absolutely nothing in the cupboards as far as oil, seasonings etc. We stayed in a two bedroom with 2 bathrooms. Huge downside is both bathrooms are upstairs. One of the ladies in our group is getting ready for a knee replacement, so it made it difficult every time she needed to use the bathroom. Personally I was not impressed with this place.

This is a great location because of its proximity to the beach. We have had a very pleasant stay. The pool is nice and clean for the moments you just want to sit and read. It is clean and comfortable. The location is close to a few shops and within driving distance to other beaches and attractions.

Lighted magnify mirror in bathroom would be nice. Pillows lumpy and hard. Some softer pillows needed as an option in closet Good=handheld shower, fans, layout of unit w bedroom distant from living room ,cleanliness

we were very satisfied with the resort the Beach was close ,restaurants were close ,shopping close. Drivable to areas of interest. Watched the whales off of our balcony and Surfers everyday. pool was close by and tennis courts.

When arriving to the resort at 4 PM check in the office was closed. The gate said it would be open until 5 PM. We called the after hours, phone line and nobody answered. After multiple phone calls and attempts, somebody finally answered and then hung up on us. We didn’t called multiple times with other groups trying to check in and finally got through to somebody who gave us a come out to a lockbox. The lockbox had mini envelopes and it went different last names we found our name went to that room number and the key did not work After calling over and over again, we finally were told to go across the street to a different lobby. That attendant was very unfriendly and helpful, but did it give us a new key and a new room number so we could finally move all our luggage to the proper room Customer service and communication here is low and there is no help or garbage anywhere outside

Our unit is ocean facing and spacious. The unit needs some upgrades but is worth the money. After hour checking is smooth.
