We stayed here with my wife for two nights and overall we were very happy with our stay. The location is excellent, right in the centre of Harrogate, and almost everything is within easy walking distance. The room was clean, the bathroom was sufficient, and the hotel met our expectations. We stayed during an unusually hot week across the UK, so the only real downside was the cooling. Like many places in the country, the room had a small fan, but it was not quite enough for that level of heat. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant downstairs was also very good, and the pub area opening onto both sides of the street had a really nice atmosphere. We were glad we chose this hotel for our trip and would like to thank the team.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location, we booked a junior suite which was lovely. The only thing that let the suite down was lack of a full length mirror and no fridge

Travelled for work and 2nd stay here. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location right in the centre of Harrogate. Well worth spending a little extra to upgrade to the larger room (same price as a Premier Inn) - room was huge with separate sitting room. 2 large doors opening onto private balcony. The most comfortable beds ever. Water, biscuits and tassimo drinks machine. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, old and full of character. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the heater and a member of staff was extremely friendly and sorted the problemstraightaway. We would definitely stay again as the location is perfect for Harrogate town centre.

Hotel is in prime location 5 mins walk away from train station. It has car parking at a charge with limited spaces. Rooms have everything you need in them very clean and daily cleans. Only downside to the room I was in we were at the back of hotel we could hear glass bottles put in bins and emptied early in mornings very loud the windows are single glazed and falling apart our window was held shut with a bolt type lock. Very warm in rooms did use the fans that were provided. We ate in the pickled sprout thats joined onto hotel which was very good food highly recommend. Friendly staff very pleasant stay.

Rooms are a little dated as to be expected. The reception was great but because of the age of the property I don’t think I’d stay again

Lovely little stay for the night. Perfect location right next to loads of shops and cafes. Very quaint and cosy. Food could've been a bit better.

Didn't stay because of train cancellation and no calling no refund whatsoever, very impersonal.

It is great hotel. Near Harrogate train station just walking 5 mins. Also. The hotel is close to town. You can find good restaurants.

Warm com.fy bed with tea making facilities hot power shower lovely soap so close to town perfect for sightseeing and coffee shop delights
