La limpieza puede ser mejor, en general es todavía satisfactoria. La ubicación es buena ya que está cerca del mercado nocturno. El servicio de personal es increíble ya que son amables y capaces de comunicarse en inglés.

Stayed here for three nights with a Halong cruise break in the middle. What a gem of a place to stay. The room was spacious (we had a family adjoining room) and clean. The hotel is centrally located in the Old Quarter and an easy walk to a lot of the attractions. The highlight was the staff with all of those we encountered being exceptionally helpful and always greeting us cheerfully. They helped with organising transport/laundry etc if needed, no hassles The rooftop bar has amazing views over the city and was a great spot to relax at happy hour and watch the storms roll into the city. The breakfast buffet was varied and ample and the restaurant on the 13th floor shares the same vistas as the bar Overall an amazing stay and will definitely stay again if back in Hanoi

El baño incluye un tubo de tamaño completo y un baño japonés (es decir, asiento caliente y construido en bidet con varias opciones). The Hanoi Lucien Hotel and Spa or San Grand Hotel as it is now known is a delightful hotel. It is an oasis in a mad, mad city. A place in a city of over 4 million scooters where you can really relax and enjoy peace and quiet. The location of the hotel is terrific. A street or two away from the lake and right smack in the centre of the Hoan Kiem old city. This hotel has to be one of the best places to come to peace and where one can enjoy the peace. It is also probably one of the best places and certainly one of the most pleasant places I have stayed. Don’t get me wrong, there were a few minor shortcomings but these are more than compensated by the perfect location and the terrific personnel. For one the view from our room was certainly not the reason we liked this hotel, neither were the teeny weeny slippers or the soap or shampoo bottles which were not attached to the walls in the shower… no certainly not, but what makes this hotel so terrific is the proactive, enthusiasm and friendly attitude of just about every single member of the staff in this hotel, including the management. From the friendly happy greeting of the ladies that made up our room, to the two young men that greeted us when we entered the hotel and carried our luggage up to the room, or who escorted us up to the dining room. We were equally delighted by the incredible assistance we were given by all the members at the reception desk. Both my wife and I particularly remember Ruby, and that young lady at the travel desk, but their colleagues were also absolutely terrific and we are very sorry that we do not know their names as they did not have name tags and their names also deserve to be mentioned here, but will have to remain anonymous. The restaurant on the tenth floor was marvellous. The view over the city and the lake as well as the food and the service was top notch. Every whim and fancy was taken care of by the very able staff. Our waiter even remembered what we had ordered two nights previously, and when we had any questions or concerns about the wine or the food they were very ably answered by the very pleasant and smart manager, Jeff, who was a most delightful and helpful person. The menu was varied and the food we had was delicious and here again the service was like in the rest of this hotel… top rate. I cannot use or even find enough superlatives to describe this staff as they more than compensate for any very minor shortcomings this hotel may have. The staff were pleasant, enthusiastic, pro-active helpful, informative and professional. An absolute credit to whomever set up this team. But wait there is more. The dining room was also the breakfast room so for breakfast we also enjoyed the same view over the Hoan Kiem area, the lake and Hanoi. The breakfast was also varied and simply delicious. Me alojé en este hotel a finales de abril por 2 noches. Una de las habitaciones más caras. La habitación es muy diferente a lo que vi en la foto. Limpio, pero todo está viejo y en mal estado. Para mí, el problema es que pagué el desayuno, pero al final el hotel no lo proporcionó. Me ofrecieron fideos con carne, pero soy vegetariano. Por eso no desayuné. La segunda mañana, avisé con anticipación y me pedí que solo repartiera plátanos y yogur. Hasta que yo mismo bajé a la recepción, no vi la comida. Necesitaba extender la habitación por otras 2 noches, el gerente me mostró otra habitación del mismo hotel de enfrente. Estuve de acuerdo y me fui por negocios. Me prometieron trasladar mis cosas a una nueva habitación. Cuando regresé al hotel alrededor de las 14:30, me contestaron algo confuso. El número aún no ha sido borrado, por favor espere. Me quedé esperando en la recepción. A los 20 minutos me dijeron que le había pasado algo al número y no me lo podían dar. A cambio, ofrecieron una perrera del tamaño de un armario en la planta baja. Me di la vuelta. Como estaba muy cansada, me quedé dormida justo en la silla de la recepción. Después de otros 30 minutos, me mostraron otra habitación. Él era terrible. Como resultado, tuve que dejar el hotel y mudarme a otro lugar. Donde por casi el mismo precio obtuve un verdadero servicio y mantenimiento.
