It is a beautiful hotel with an excellent location in Hannover. The rooms are comfortable, and the bathrooms looked newly refurbished. We stayed at 2 executive rooms which were spacious and lovely. The staff at the reception and restaurant were all friendly and professional. The breakfast was basic and nicely presented. The Bar is another story. They close early and staff not very friendly. I came late like 1 minute after the last call while staff were still working and they refused to serve me. They said order from Room service from a very limited selection.

I lost my luggage in the lobby of the Hotel (Novotel Suites Hannover). I asked the staff at the reception and the hotel manager (Pathira Ewen, I believe this is the correct spelling of her name) to help out. They could clearly see my luggage on the CCTV when I got to the hotel. From a certain point onwards, they are unable to let me know any additional information about my luggage. The CCTV camera suddenly can't show the luggage anymore, and they keep telling to claim with the police for them (the police) to go and ask for video footage. That's funny as hell. Customer service all of a sudden went downhill. They went from ”yeah we'll check the CCTV for you” to ”call the police if you want further information”. I'll definitely claim to the police. That is considered theft to some extent and the last time I checked, it's illegal in Germany as well. I'll involve lawyers if I am forced to.

We spent one night in this comfortable hotel just outside Hannover central station (10mins walk). Being HHonors Gold member, we were provided with a room upgrade to a nice, large and quiet room. The room and bathroom were very clean, but felt a bit dated, so a renovation would be very welcome. We are also not big fans of showers in a bath-tub, so a nice walk-in shower would have been better. Staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast was good as well, with a good choice of food and drinks, although it did get very busy after 9:00am. We would consider staying here again when next in Hannover, especially if the hotel is renovated.

Se tarda unos 5 minutos en caminar. Durante la epidemia, el desayuno no es un buffet, es relativamente sencillo que el personal de servicio lo lleve a la mesa.

Ya he estado en este hotel varias veces a principios del año y siempre he estado satisfecho. Es un poco ”vintage” pero hay habitaciones con balcón para dinero relativamente pequeño. Ahora, en los tiempos del virus (a principios de julio) la recepción estaba ocupada sólo de las 10 a las 16:00, se entró en el hotel gracias a un empleado extra visitado (tenía que Llamar y comunicar a priori cuando se llega a entrar) a través de una entrada lateral (la entrada principal estaba bloqueada con grifos) y permitió llevar su maleta a través de una casa de escaleras no muy bonita, ya que la silla de paseo estaba desactivada. Bar y desayuno cerrados. Todo en todo un poco incómodo. Pero espero que se vuelvan a ”recordar” y a pasar bien por estos tiempos, entonces me gustaría verlo de nuevo.

We only stayed here one night, but it was a lovely stay that made a very favorable impression. We arrived in Hannover by train (not the original plan but thanks to Lufthansa's poor management, a plan we were stuck with) and were delighted to find that the hotel was just across the street from the station. Our room was very spacious and quiet and included a walk in closet and desk area, and the bathroom was over the top! There was a tv (with all my favorite international options) imbedded in the bathroom mirror , which let me watch the news while getting ready. Also, when you turn on the water in the shower, Classical music pipes in along with a colored light show! It's a bit Las Vegas-sy, but I loved it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast had just enough options to jump-start our day.

During recent storms, Deutsche Bahn rerouted and cancelled my train which left me stranded in Hannover unexpectedly. I quickly booked the first Marriott property I could find on the app because I needed a last minute room guaranteed late at night. When I arrived at checkin, Inga Zarzycki welcomed me after a long and frustrating day of travel. She answered all of my questions, and even provided me a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite because of my Platinum status. I was also informed that I had the minibar and breakfast included and could choose between a welcome gift or bonus points. The suite itself was beautiful! It felt like a small apartment. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was also great, with a big tub. I am 6’4” so it was a nice surprise to be able to soak in the tub after a terrible travel day. The following morning after a hearty breakfast, I spoke with Olga Schmidt at the front desk and explained I was going to go to the train station and try to get home to Berlin, but that I might need to extend my stay for another night. I asked her to hold my room and not send housekeeping, just in case. She kindly agreed. After a terrible experience at the train station, I returned to the hotel disappointed that all trains were cancelled again and I was stranded for another day. Olga welcomed me back with a cappuccino and some candy and suggested I check out the sauna and fitness center to relax. The sauna is beautiful and had a roof top terrace, perfect for cooling off. Shortly after this, I learned that my friend was driving from Berlin to pick me up and take me home, and that I would not need to stay an extra night. When I explained my situation to Olga, she informed me that I could have a VERY late checkout and would not be charged an additional night for the room. This is top notch customer service! She totally understood my situation and made every effort to accommodate my ever changing needs. When I finally went to checkout, I was happy to see Inga again. Olga had already updated her and it was an easy checkout experience. Both Inga and Olga are fantastic representatives of excellent customer service and I truly appreciate their help and consideration during an otherwise stressful travel experience. If I am ever in Hannover again, this will be my first choice of hotel because of the level of service I received.

No se recomienda alojarse en este hotel. La ubicación está frente a la estación de tren y el transporte es conveniente. Pero esta ventaja no es suficiente para disimular sus defectos: 1. Instalaciones anticuadas, el sofá brota. 2. El diseño del baño es defectuoso y salpicaduras de agua por todas partes. 3. El personal de servicio individual carece de cortesía.

He estado aquí desde 2007 y he estado en familia desde 2007 y todavía es mi lugar favorito para permanecer en Hannover. Desde que está en el cuarto piso, puede estar muy caliente allí en verano, ya que no hay AC. La ubicación es conveniente no muy lejos del estacionamiento de tranvía, el desayuno buffet es muy bueno (a menos que no hay café de cafe), es muy limpio y hay instalaciones de lavandería (por un coste). Sería recomendable, especialmente para las estancias más largas.
