Booked a rooftop windowed room to see the stars at night. But the window was too dirty to lookout from the inside, staff was not helpful, room is small and smelly but ok for short stay. Great historical hangzhou ambiance good location but old amenities

Pretty cozy but cold room. Suitable for a short stay. Put a lower grade for Wi-Fi - it was impossible to switch it on on laptops and tablets, on top of that, we had to reconnect with some weird app every time we needed it. That's why we went for mobile Internet after all.

We stayed at Hefang Hotel for 2 nights in the Cozy Room and besides the fact everything went smoothly, the hotel is, in fact, low quality. - Room: Bad. The room is quite small, needs some maintenance and a deep cleaning. There is a window but it does not open properly. The mold smell is very strong and you can feel the humidity as soon as you enter. The walls, mirrors, floor and the room in general has not been cleaned properly for a long time. So it really looks like a cheap and dirty place, which makes it not comfortable at all (you can’t see that on the pictures from the hotel). We even asked at the reception if they could change us to a different room, in an upper floor, but they said there wasn’t any available. - Breakfast: Reasonable, but not great. There is dumplings, noodles, sweet potatoes, eggs, sausage, some cakes and one type of fruit. No drinking options at all (I mean, no coffee, tea, milk, juice, water, etc.! We asked) Also, the breakfast time is from 7h00 - 9h30 but they don’t replace the food so if you arrive around 9h probably you won’t find much (we asked for more fruit and they said that they didn’t have it). Tables and chairs were not clean. Amenities: Good. Nice common area on the 1st floor where you can hangout and have your own meals. Location: Great! Near the most famous street where you can find some tradicional shops and a lot of restaurants. If you plan to stay in this hotel we suggest you to make sure your room is on the 2nd floor and without breakfast included.

I’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments in Asia, and I am used to small spaces, but this room was SMALL, especially as I am 172 cm, I could barely (if at all) stand up straight in the room. The room was also very old, the wall around the air conditioner was warped and peeling (picture attached). Additionally, when I woke up the first morning, I realized there were spiders everywhere (also pictures attached). I promptly canceled my booking and moved to a different hotel, and they (through Trip.com’s help) refunded me for the remaining days. The hotel itself is cute, the breakfast was good, and it’s in a great location. Maybe if I had had a different room things would have been different.

The room is a little small but looks so cute at the first sight. It is suitable for a couple to live in this room. The hotel location is convenient for a walk at night. There are many good restaurants and stores nearby. 清河坊is adjacent to the street leading to the hotel. Worth a visit! Recommend!

The room was quiet, clean and perfect for my one night stay, with all the necessary amenities. The ckeck-in was done quickly.

room was nice, interior was nice, i like the traditional vibe of everything here. Sadly there’s no washing clothes service, but still a good place. recommend for anyone who likes the traditional chinese style

Location are good. A bit far from metro station but near to bus station. Nearby Noodle restaurant was nice and cheap. Is very convenient to travel by bus in Hangzhou. For the room,I only can say pay for the price, room old and cold, bad sound proof. for low budget short stay acceptable,but can't expected more.

Location: 10/10 It’s in downtown. Very popular and exciting to walk around at night. I could cycle all around the highway for two hours the first night of arrival and bought all I needed for my meals. The bus stop is literally 10 steps from the hotel. Perfect location Service: 10/10 The man at the reception was so friendly and funny as well. I literally forgot my card and returned back at 2am. Fortunate, he was still there and helped me open the door. Cleanliness: 7/10 Clean and the staff came at 12pm every day to collect any trash I had. Amenities: 8/10
