Four Points by Sheraton Haikou International Airport Hotel

La habitación era muy ruidosa, sobre todo por la gente que tomaba vuelos al día siguiente. Empezaron a dar portazos y a preparar las maletas sobre las 4 de la madrugada. A partir de las 5 de la madrugada, se oía un rugido constante, parecido al de un motor, proveniente de la dirección opuesta a la calle, lo que impedía dormir. La habitación daba justo a la ruta de vuelo, con aviones llegando cada pocos minutos. La insonorización de las ventanas era regular, lo que la hacía increíblemente ruidosa. La habitación era pequeña, más o menos del mismo tamaño que la del Hotel Ji, con espacio justo para dos maletas. En recepción no ofrecieron fruta ni bebidas de bienvenida, ni indicaciones para llegar al ascensor. El servicio de transporte al aeropuerto costaba 10 yuanes, y los taxis en Haikou no son caros. Habría sido mejor alojarse un poco más lejos, donde habría más silencio y la diferencia de tiempo en el trayecto sería de menos de 10 minutos. El hotel era nuevo, pero olía a formaldehído. No había purificador de aire. Daba a una carretera y a dormitorios, sin ninguna vista. La pasta de dientes era lamentablemente escasa. El ascensor emitió un pitido al llegar al piso en mitad de la noche y el baño no era un baño inteligente.

Room is clean and sufficiently spacious for 2 persons. There is a supermarket within walking distance. There is even shuttle bus to and fro the airport.

The room is clean however there is cigarette smell on the first day which was a Sunday. Probably a large group of heavy smokers were staying there over the weekend because the corridor and the lift waiting area felt stuffy. However the next day the cigarette smell were gone and the air is a lot fresher. The hotel provide free shuttle bus service to the airport. The hotel staff are friendly.

Great hotel for an overnight stay close to the airport when arriving late (staff at the counter very friendly). Around a 10 minutes drive from the international terminal. Very clean and big room for the price. Airport shuttle is free and runs every 30 minutes even during the night!

I recently stayed at a Sheraton hotel near the airport, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with friendly staff and convenient access to the airport—perfect for travelers. However, there was one issue that affected our stay. Upon arrival, we were informed that our room was not ready, even though we arrived at 2:00 PM, which is the stated check-in time. We ended up having to wait until around 2:40 PM before we could access our room. After a long journey, this delay felt quite unreasonable and inconvenient. Aside from this check-in issue, everything else about the stay was great. If the hotel can improve its room readiness at check-in time, it would make the overall experience much smoother and more satisfying.

1. Though located near the airport, there are not many places to go to nearby. Next door is a dilapidated mall. 2.The hotel does not have any restaurants nor room service. This was not indicated on their website when I booked. With not many food options in the nearby Mall, I had to go hungry - too far to go to the city. The room does not have a fridge and the light control in the room do not make sense - once the Master Switch is switched off, one cannot separately switch on the bathroom lights I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here until they improve their facilities. I have no complaints about the staff or their level of service.

Overall a good stay. It’s conveniently located close to airport of Haikou. Taxi fare is about 18 yuan from airport. Room is new too.

Hotel is new, delivery with robot send to room. Sound proofing not that good.
