"I was fortunate to stay at House of West Kili during a cycling tour around the Kilimanjaro area. We were warmly welcomed and give a nice orientation of the facilities. The grounds were immaculate and well groomed. The lodge rooms are huge, super clean and the plumbing was all working well. I felt like a VIP. The meals were excellent as we had dinner and breakfast before heading off. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a really nice place to stay. It was an absolute treat to stay at."

"Stayed as part of organized Mt Kilimanjaro climb through Peak Planet. Stayed the day before and after our climb. Nice, clean accommodation. Staff were extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. Food & drink was excellent. Left all belongings not required on climb with Stella Maris. All belongings were returned to us as left after our climb. This hotel is situated in the back of a grade school although when in or at the back of the hotel you would never know. My son and I walked a few blocks from the hotel. Met some delightful and curious children from the school."
