Great hotel, with quiet lobby. Handy automatic supermarket machine witch gets you food and drinks anytime you like. Staff is semi Dutch speaking but deliver a great clean and tidy hotel. Traveled for business, good location. Sea is just around the corner. Photos look the same as reality, so I won’t include photos in my review.

Después de leer los diversos comentarios negativos (después de reservar mi viaje!) me sentí ligeramente preocupado por mi estancia aquí por una serie de noches. La habitación que me dio fue pequeña pero muy aceptable para mis necesidades y muy limpia. Una vez en la habitación, intenté llamar a la recepción para aclarar una cuestión menor. No se me ocurrieron mis llamadas. Entregaba 3-4 veces durante un período de 20-30 minutos, en un tentamenpt, dejando que llamó hasta 10 minutos. No hay respuesta. Finalmente encontré la información que necesito en la pequeña hoja de información después de examinar cuidadosamente. El día siguiente, tomando un día de descanso de negocios, quería quedarme en mi habitación para escribir e-mails y así sucesivamente, así que puse el 'sígueme mi habitación ahora a las 8:00 y salía por desayuno. We had a great stay at Des Indes. Already before we came we had to change the date because of unforeseen personal circumstances. This was done without any problem. When we arrived we were recognized by the concierge as we stayed before. Impressive. Also at the reception the lady who changed the reservation came to ask how things are. The hotel has a very good atmosphere and the room was clean and had a wonderful bed. There was also a bottle of complementary Cava in the room. In the morning there was a very nice breakfast where you can take from the buffet, but also some menu options are available. We felt treated special by the staff of the Des Indes hotel and enjoyed our stay. Next time when we visit The Hague we will for sure go back to this hotel.

It's a very nice hotel, located in the center of the city. Beautiful design, the rooms are pleasant. The breakfast is good. Those who come with a car are advised not to park in the parking lot below the hotel, because it is expensive. We camped in a parking lot within walking distance (of course after dropping off our luggage at the hotel) on Geest Street 1. We had a less pleasant experience, our daughter felt sick, and they had no idea where to refer us and we were even sent to the emergency which turned out to have been closed for 3 years. So only health, and enjoy.

The hotel looks better on the pictures than in reality. It is bigger than the usual Ibis hotels and probably newer. The bathroom is small compared to the rest of the room, the bed was making a lot of noise, the mattress is actually a topper. There is a police station just in front and each time a police car enters or leaves (with or without the siren) there is a penetrating beep beep noise. I explicitly asked at the desk for a quiet room on the other side and got the exact opposite. It’s probably ok for a short city trip but if you are looking for receptive staff and a quiet hotel then I don’t recommend this hotel.

El hotel está situado a 30 minutos a pie del centro de la ciudad. El staff es muy atento y dispone de parking gratuito. ¿Por que digo que es multihotel? Básicamente porque en la habitación hay cosas que no pegan ni con pegamento, la zona de la cama, muy mona y bien decorada, pero luego tienes una pared con un grafitti que da la impresión que estés en un hostel de mochileros. Junto al televisor un ventilador de esos típicos de pie, que aún da más ambiente de hostel. Aún así, repetiría. La habitación dispone de una pequeña zona de cocina con nevera y microondas que es de agradecer.

When we arrived the reception was empty. There was not even a welcome drink in the room. The cleanliness of the hotel in general and the room in particular left a lot to be desired. Nothing you would expect from a 5 star hotel.The room was horribly decorated. The rug under the bed was completely crooked, and a wooden lamp that almost pierced my eyes twice. Over the bed there was a button that said do not disturb with a night light so bright it was impossible to sleep well. The bedroom furniture was old and chipped.The bathtub had one of the faucets broken.The hotstone massage was one of the worst ever. Impossible to relax when the masseuse tries to make conversation and makes so much noise with the stones that it is impossible to relax even 1 min. The pool was okay. The rest of the SPA we did not try.We booked dinner at reception but when we arrived at the restaurant there was no reservation. The rest was across the street from the hotel, very uncomfortable having to go out to dinner in another building, especially on a cold and rainy day. But the worst was yet to come. We asked if it would be possible to make a bowl of rice or pasta for our 3 year old daughter but they refused. What restaurant, much more than 5 stars, refuses to make a simple rice for a child? Neither the poorest restaurant nor a 3 star hotel. Then we ordered fondue for two. When the waitress brought us the food came a plate with 5 small pieces of grilled meat and a tiny bowl of fries. When we said that it was not what we had ordered, but the fondue, they told us that the restaurant no longer made fondue. But then why was it on the menu? Why didn't the employee who served us the first time inform us that there was no fondue? As the dish that came was very little food for 2 adults and 1 child, we ordered another steak. Waiting another 30 min. When the waitress came with the plate, she dumped the fries all over the floor. We had to wait a little longer for the fries.The steak was good but for 30€ you expected a little more than 5 tiny strips of meat and a small bowl of pre-fried supermarket potatoes. Needless to say, our 3 year old daughter ate very poorly.Definitely untrained and very unfriendly staff.Breakfast was mediocre for a 5 star hotel. Breakfast at the level of a 2 star pension. 5 star hotel has absolutely nothing. At most 3 stars and already very forced. In the end they wanted to charge us 15€ for the car park when the reservation we made on booking.com said that the car park was free. As we complained about the bad service they did, they decided to withdraw the 15€ from the final bill and the two tonic waters we drank for dinner. Hotel not recommendable at all.
