Tropical Hotel St Barth

From check in to departure , everything was perfect. Kelly, the Front Office Manager always went the extra mile, she recommended great restaurants and arranged all our dinner and lunches, she was so kind to upgrade us and accorded us a late checkout, mind you it was low season, but they could have charged. Breakfast was very good, balanced food an healthy. The hotel was well done, the tropical feeling made us feel at home

I have been meaning to write a review since returning to Toronto and really should have sooner, considering what an amazing experience we had! First of all, our friends were staying at Cheval Blanc and Eden Rock and my friend and I decided we would save our money and stay at Tropical..... did we ever make the right decision! I'll start with the bad, because there was hardly anything bad but there were a few places they could improve: 1. Check in was very slow. They brought us drinks and we were comfortable but after a day of travel, it would have been nice if it had been a little faster. 2. The food wasn't great. It was OK but not great. Really didn't matter, we weren't there to eat. 3. The pool is very small but you are steps away from the beach. It wouldn't be great for a family with kids but for us, perfect. Now, here is the good: 1. The service! The staff went above and beyond at every opportunity. My adaptor didn't work and they sent someone to an electronics store at 10pm to get me one after bringing me multiple options to the room. They text us ahead of arrival to make sure they met us at the airport AND on the last day when our flight was cancelled, they took us to the airport and WAITED with us to make sure we got out in time. We've both travelled extensively and never experienced such incredible customer service! 2. The rooms were adorable and perfectly equipped. Beautifully decorated, great products, private terraces and cleaned to perfection daily. 3. Location: if you're there to go to day clubs like Niki Beach, Gypsea or La Guerite, you can't find a better spot. 1 minute walk down the hill and you're there. I (sadly) had to teeter back to the room mid day to send out some paper work and it was so close my friends barely noticed I was gone. The group is rebooking for next year and I've converted some of the Cheval Blanc crew to the Tropical. Would 100% recommend

It was a very pleasant day, The service was nice, but cocktail was taking a while to come…. Food was delicious and tasty. I can recommend you the dumplings and Sunday as dessert, it was nice but don’t understand why caramel was served in a tiny bottle because we can’t get anything from the inside, caramel was cold and not hot impossible to put in the Sunday…..! I was very disappointed I went few times in the swimming-pool, there was a dog at end of the day swimming inside the swimming-pool. Animals especially dog must be banned from this area It’s disgusting and dirty ! Please for next time I really want to see the difference…

Our stay at Tropical was by far one of the most special weeks we have ever had. This tropical paradise lived up to every expectation and more!! The stunning beauty of the setting is only improved by the friendliness of each and every member of the tropical team! We were made to feel like a part of the family and nothing was too much for them! They did everything possible to help us with each moment of our stay, making each day more magical than the last! We were truly looked after both in service and kindness. Each moment we were greeted with a smile and so many little ways to add that extra touch to make our holiday an absolute dream! This is a place that goes the extra mile and this is reflected in the happy and beautiful atmosphere of Tropical hotel! Tropical we love you and can’t wait to return! Mum and I cannot thank the you enough or recommend you more highly! Xxx

perfect place to stay for a girls weekend getaway. loved the decor, the breakfast was so delicious and the overall ambience was amazing. absolutely loved the pool! the overall vibe of this hotel felt tropical, fun, instagrammable and the location was perfect. walking distance to St Jean shops, popular beach clubs and Eden Rock.

Tropical Hotel St. Barth is a stylish boutique hotel with a friendly staff, but it falls short on key details like missing beach bags and the lack of any notable views, which can be disappointing. While the rooms are modern and the restaurant serves great food, these shortcomings affect the overall experience. A good stay, but there's definitely room for improvement.
