"Comfortable hotel, conveniently located in Gulu Avenue. Lovely pool and gardens. Great cafe bar and restaurant. Breakfast was average, nothing special but most people were on the go to business meetings and conferences, so it was perfectly adequate. Staff were helpful. Our room was on the ground floor in the older part of the hotel room 517. Mosquito nets, aircon, tea/coffee/kettle but no frills. Comfy bed. Big shower with much needed hot water after a busy day. Peaceful for such a busy hotel."

"This hotel keeps dogs that are released without informing guests. I got attacked in the night by dogs and it was a terrible experience especially since I was not informed at the check-in. It was a big trap and it was also very strange for a hotel to have dogs roaming the compound. I asked the guard and he pointed me to a small note in the room mentioning the fact. The rooms do not have phone extensions for guests to get help from the reception desk. So, you have to move to the reception physically. If you insist that this hotel is your choice, please be very careful, especially for those travelling with children or heart problems. You may witness your worst travel experience while in Gulu."

"This is a relatively new, modern hotel in the center of Gulu. The lobby and rooms have excellent air conditioning. There is an outer patio with an adjacent bar and dining room, which do not have AC with the exception of the dining room. There is a moderately large pool that is well maintained and wifi throughout the premises. The rooms are moderately spacious and comfortable. There is a bed net over the bed although it was open at the base. That said, the rooms had AC and there were no mosquitoes visible. There was a coffee maker but surprisingly no toiletries other than soap in the bathroom. Breakfast was included. Staff were very friendly."

The food in the restaurant is very tasty, butter chicken is one of my favorite dishes and the best one in the whole of Uganda! When I reach Gulu, I always come here and feel at home right away!"
