Las habitaciones son geniales, especialmente la cocina totalmente equipada, que es mejor que los apartamentos de hotel en Europa, Australia y América del Sur. Es especialmente adecuado para la cocina china. El supermercado está al lado. Hay tofu, pimienta, mariscos y carnes. Estos ingredientes son super buenos. Se siente como un niño, se siente genial. La gente aquí es relativamente próspera, la gente vive una vida tranquila, la gente común juega al fútbol junto a ellos, nada y charla junto al mar. El clima es muy bueno, mucho más cómodo que en Australia y Tailandia, no hace calor. Las plantas son exuberantes, se sientan en el balcón por la noche y la brisa sopla lentamente. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I was enveloped in a sense of warmth and hospitality that carried throughout my entire stay. The staff, with their unwavering attention to detail and genuine care, made me feel not just as a guest, but as a part of the family. I post my reviews on Friday attitude by mistake I wanted to thank alot of person during my stay but i'll some of the name i remember below but note that all the staff was wonderful but i can't remember all of them. You need to manage your expectations when you book a stay at Oceans Villas. You might have watched the YouTube videos showing the hotel. But it's fair to say that these videos show the icing on the cake and not the core ingredients. If you saw two South Africans touring the hotel, be warned that they've shown the best parts and avoided showing the worst parts. It's a 3 star establishment. And that means you're going to have to put up with a property that was built circa 1980s. There were signs of wear and tear everywhere. As you walk through the front door, some parts of the villas needed a bit of filler and a lick of paint. Some of the furniture had seen better days and our shower door leaked every time we took a shower. But the villa was clean. The beds were comfortable and the villa had amenities that you wouldn't expect such as a safe, hair dryer and a microwave too. A bottle of mineral water was also provided on arrival and parking outside the villas was a nice touch. As for the grounds, the gardens are kept well. It's not going to blow you away but again it's 3 star. The swimming pool didn't look as clean as we'd like and we opted not to go for a dip. The cushions on the seats were littered with stains from previous guests spilling drinks and food. The beach was decent. The view out to the bay was spectacular and you certainly won't be disappointed. You can swim but when we stayed, the sea was choppy but that's not the hotel's problem. What's great about Oceans Villa is its position. You're only 5 minutes away in a car from the best public beaches. Namely Trou aux Biches, Mon Choisy, Pereybere and La Gaulette. So you're spoilt for choice. We'd like to praise the service at the hotel. The kitchen staff and serving staff were really accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The entertainment was particularly good, and you'll certainly be tapping your toes and most likely dancing. Lastly the food. One word MSG. There's a good selection of food but too much MSG added to the food. Every morning, we woke up to that awful salty taste on our tongues. So as you can gather there's some good parts to Oceans Villas but you're going to have to put up with some bad parts. if you're on a budget and happy to stay in a 3 star establishment where you can experience the beaches in the North, it's a good place to stay. Would we stay there again? I'd most likely opt for a self catering apartment. We felt for the money, we'd get better quality of facilities but then again we'd have to prepare our food.

Después de unas maravillosas vacaciones de 14 días en Mauricio, fue un descanso. Solo puede encontrar un lugar de bajo costo en el área local para prepararse para la adherencia a largo plazo. El nivel del hotel es como en casa, pero con cocina y sala de estar. El jefe es holandés y gordo. La propietaria es un negro local. Los dos se quedaron en el hotel. El lugar es difícil de encontrar, hay autobuses en la carretera, pero yo no. Intenté salir una vez a pie. Aunque esta es una buena comunidad para los estándares locales, todavía se siente muy desierta, especialmente por la noche. Finalmente alquilé un auto.

Fuimos porque parecía un lugar agradable. Mi marido quería café y yo tomé un cocktail. Fue terrible. El café no tenía sabor (sentió como si bebiera agua) y el cocktail que tomó me sentía como si no había alcohol y parecía que bebía un vaso de jugo de tamarín y era demasiado caro. Pero el cuidador era bueno para nosotros (no recuerda su nombre), la dama (esa parece ser la dueña) dijo que limpiaba la mesa y nos traería los cristales, pero esperamos media hora para tener el cristal, pero nunca nos llegó a nosotros ni a nosotros. ¡Limpiar la mesa ni iluminar la vela que nos trajo! No lo recomiendamos a nadie. No vale dinero! Nunca volvemos a ellos! ¡Han robado claramente el dinero! Peor experiencia jamás!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $$$$

Llegamos derivados de otro hotel de la misma cadena por un problema con el operador y la verdad es que he de decir que fue una suerte. Pasamos una semana maravillosa. El hotel tiene poquitas habitaciones y es only adults. Había tanta tranquilidad que la gente en la piscina susurraba para hablar. Solo se oían el mar y los pajaros, que son muy bonitos, por cierto y vienen a comer de la mano. Imagino que eso también depende de los ”vecinos” que te toquen. Nosotros tuvimos bastante suerte. La limpieza muy buena. Te hacen la cama otra vez mientras cenas si la has desecho en la siesta. El desayuno, bastante bueno. Te hacen tortilla o varias clases de huevos al momento. También tienen un cocinero haciendo crepes. La cena (contratamos media pensión) muy variada. Tienen menú y carta con platos incluidos o con sobrecoste, dependiendo del plato. Comida muy rica. Muchos camareros para atenderte en todo momento. Mención especial para la gente de la recepción. Se portaron increíblemente bien. Nos ayudaron en todo momento con las excursiones y con consejos. Notas que se preocupan por tí y por tu bienestar. La única pega que tuvimos fue un malentendido con el minibar el día que nos íbamos. Decían que habiamos consumido cosas que nosotros no habíamos tocado. Nosotros nos ofrecimos a pagarlo igualmente porque eran un par de cosas y no queriamos discutir, pero una vez más, la gente de la recepción estuvo a la altura y no dejó que lo pagaramos, ofreciendo sus disculpas y asumiendo el error. Sinceramente, no sabemos qué pudo pasar. En definitiva un sito magnífico en una isla preciosa. Altamente recomendable.

El precio del hotel es muy alto, la sensación de persona es muy buena. Adecuado a ”la excursión pobre”, a unos 5 kilómetros de Super U en la bahía, se puede viajar en autobús (82 caminos, le diré dónde bajar, ver el mapa, pulse el auto cuando llegue pronto, no es fácil hablar), la mayoría de los hoteles de mausoleo son básicamente incómodos para salir, Si el hotel llamaba a un taxi por más de 1000 rupias, yo estaba en autobús con 24 rupias... En estos días, he ido a la supermercado para comprar bifes (muy bueno, todos australianos), he hecho comida (el hotel puede cocinar (necesito comida propia), es difícil comer en el restaurante que trabaja con el hotel. Acaba de cocinar un día y pedir un plato de 340 rupias, Pero no comer).. Si se come dos comidas, es un poco sorprendente, se puede decir que es muy satisfactorio. El entorno es bueno, hay una piscina, y luego está al lado de la gran Mon Choisy Beach, limpia y bien.. Las excursiones diarias y el uso de coches son las mejores reservas en línea, el hotel es más caro.

After reading multiple reviews we thought everything would be top notch, in reality the hotel falls short – it completely depends on your expectations. Our experience was a real mixed bag, so I’ve attempted to detail all events factually, to decide whether this is the right destination for you. – Location The hotel is located on the windy side of the island. We expected there to be a strong breeze, but at times it was more like 30mph, so you would like a light sandblasting if on the beach – unsurprisingly no one uses the sun beds there. – Activities The hotel includes a good programme - walks, cycling, caves etc - all included. They’re short but enjoyable. You’ll need some local change to bring you back on the local bus. There’s a range of watersports kits - it’s all beginner style, so don’t expect harnesses etc for windsurfing. The beach team were not keen to let you out due to the wind. Also there’s a good amount of rocks around, so at low tide you really need to be careful. There’s one main large pool sectioned into three. At most times there are children playing in it, so was difficult to swim lengths. The main fitness pool closed for renovations, that’s behind the gym – this was a real let down. The pool area has towels left out overnight on beds or guests getting up at 5.30am, so all taken by 6am. If this is what you’re looking for, you’ll need to be early as the hotel staff don’t clear off towels after the stated 1 hour of none use. – Standard garden room Is a good size, including a Childs folding bed. There is a strange two level design, so in the night you just need to be careful is visiting the bathroom. Cleaning was ok, but the floors not mopped, so by the end of the stay looked like it needed a good clean and we ensured to leave our shoes outside. On a couple of occasions they forgot to replace the water and towels. Don’t expect flowers on pillows etc like some other more luxury resorts. Unfortunately my daughter’s necklace, which was in a small bag was thrown away by the cleaners. There was no apology, nor was it replaced. It was unfortunate but could have been handled better. We found most staff to be pleasant, possibly not as attentive as other resorts. - Food and drinks Beach bar If you’re looking for relatively poor drinks you’ve come to the right place. Cocktails are made without jigs or real care, so two can be very different. They’re all very sweet (so ask to leave the sugar syrup out) and quite weak – we suspect the local spirits are low volume and quality. If you’re after drinking any kind of booze all day you’ll enjoy it. If you’re looking for a couple of decent cocktails, you’ll be sadly disappointed. Plastic cups weren’t collected from the beach – personally we returned ours, but it wasn’t great to see some left there for days. Le Comptoir buffet - good selection, friendly chefs to speak to.
