Carlton Suites

Not keen on doing reviews but this one’s a must! I have read previous comments from travellers and i didnt see red flags but mostly good feedback… so yes, i booked in for our group. But to my experience, the communication was so sa bad to the point that when I reached them i already wanted to cancel but is prepaid already so i dont have much choice. I rang them to arrange a cot before our check in time, multiple calls, emails, no one responded until the day of our check in which was already around 4pm. When we arrived around 8pm, i saw an old man standing infront of the front desk with no one on duty. He told me he’s been there waiting for 20mins and it was cold then. Good thing we arrived and i had the manager’s contact number. When it was our turn to check in, the keys were misplaced so the manager had to use the master key and told me he will be back to get the room keys. And he never did come back though. Rang him again and no answer. This means that we cant leave the room locked otherwise we cannot enter anymore. So once must stay inside. Past reviews says there are renovations which makes the motel more pleasing but in reality there is nothing like new. It feels so dusty. Lastly, out of courtesy i was trying to ring them again to advise check out. But then again, no one’s available……… so there, we left without a word. So bad!

The entrance can be easily missed. It is very near to the information centre and the Soldier's Club where you can enjoy a good meal.

Great location and good value for money. The reception desk waits for late travellers till at least 9pm.

這是個motel酒店，乾淨，房間雙人床，但冰箱內冷凍室門壞了，不是每天打掃衞生，服務態度不錯，在房間內做飯出現電路短路，管理人員立刻解決，沒有批評指責。最大優點是便宜，離小鎮火車站近，但離堪培拉市有90多公里，出行效率不高。一般去堪培拉的遊客應該很少入住這個酒店。之所以入住這也是在堪培拉未找到價格合適的。

The property appeared clean and recently renovated. Beds were comfortable. On closer inspection there was hair over the tiles in the basin area and in and around the shower which indicates the lack of cleaning.

This is a great little Motel. The rooms have been recently renovated. I had a great stay.

It is a very old property and looks somewhat run down from the outside. The interiors were very clean and maintained. We had a family room which was also a disabled room. The double bed was very small. The room had very limited ventilation and became really hot from breathing etc. We had to run the aircon even though it was cold. Aircon worked well. But we didn't really want to run it. We had a really bad sleep tbh. Bed was so small for 2. Mattress very soft. Very old and dated.

I was threatened with violence by the male receptionist or manager not sure what he was . He looked as though he had just come out of jail . Beard t shirt and flipflops very unprofessional . Threatened to break my car window. Never come anything like this ever and I do travel a lot.Please inform owners .

The location was great but the bathroom was a bit dirty and had lots of mould.
