"La habitación amplia, limpia y perfecta para nosotros tres (2 adultos y 1 niño de 10 años). Cenar en el restaurante es una experiencia lindísima, frenta al mar, en un lugar con buen gusto del ambiente. El menú nuevo no tiene los platillos extraordinarios y diferenciados, sin embargo siguen siendo muy buenos en calidad. ¡El desayuno sí que es extraordinario! Vale la pena hospedarse y esperar a saborear esas combinaciones de sabores y texturas con un café a la orilla de la playa. Si puede y tiene tiempo, recomiendo el uso de kayaks, tours en bote o paddleboards para tener esa conexión con el mar. Fuimos a la playa Puntarenitas y fue espectacular. Mi hijo no quería regresar tan pronto."

"Keith and Nicole, the owners of Cielo Lodge have created an idyllic experience with an incredible view of Golfito Bay. The team led by Delia, an exceptional manager, ensured that all our needs were met, and the kindness and warmth of the staff created a friendly and casual environment. Any concerns or questions we had were dealt with quickly and professionally. We enjoyed all of the included activities led by a naturalist guide Michael, who was incredibly knowledgeable and able to spot so much wildlife that we would have missed if we had been on our own. The food is excellent and they worked hard to accommodate our dietary needs. We had been concerned about no AC which proved not to be a problem and some nights we actually needed an extra blanket to sleep. The rooms are well designed to keep you cool and comfortable. The design of the rooms and central dining room/bar and pool area are magnificent and encouraged connection with nature. We enjoyed swimming lengths and the view from the infinity pool. Some small touches that we particularly appreciated included, fresh cold juice on return from every activity (including for the guide and driver); free laundry; cleaning our muddy shoes after a hike to the waterfall (they looked like new); the outdoor shower in our room and 2 pairs of binoculars for use during our stay. The small size of the lodge facilitated getting to know the other guests, kept the tours intimate and we still could enjoy time as a couple. Overall we had a wonderful, memorable 5 day vacation in a beautiful and not yet overly developed area of Costa Rica."

"A surprise of a place, in the middle of the pristine rainforest and in a totally unexpected location. Beautiful stay, and we liked the attention, and the fact that it is not a known tourist site, which makes it even more special. There are many trails, but even the short trails around the hotel are fantastic. It was a nice experience."
