I am beyond disappointed with the experience we had at your hotel, especially considering it was our wedding night—a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. During our stay, I repeatedly mentioned to the staff that we were celebrating our wedding in Tilburg. Yet, when we returned to our room after this special day, I found the leftovers from my dinner the night before still in the room. The bed was dirty, the floor hadn’t been vacuumed, and the bathroom was far from clean. It was shocking, and I’ve never encountered anything like this in my entire life. As a flight attendant who travels the world, I have stayed in countless hotels, and this was by far the worst experience. You completely ruined what should have been one of the happiest nights of my life. I cried the entire time because of how poorly we were treated. To make matters worse, I reached out to American Express, through whom I booked the stay, and they attempted to contact the reception. However, the staff at the front desk were rude and dismissive—not only to us but to other guests as well. Their behavior was appalling. I can’t help but feel that we were treated this way because we aren’t Dutch, and that is utterly unacceptable. Every guest deserves respect, no matter where they are from. I will never stay at your hotel again, and I strongly caution others against doing so. This experience was a complete and utter disappointment, and your hotel tarnished what should have been a magical evening.
