"Absolute pleasure to visit thus family business. The siblings Jacinta and Ngure split AM and PM shifts and are always available on call when a need arises. Wilson is a long time night manager that knows us all by name. Our family has been patrons since the 80s at their sister /mother hotel downtown Gilgil called Mugoiri. There's a new cook of whom is in training, as she didn't know how to prepare an over easy egg. I asked Elizabeth to go show her how to via You Tube academy, and she finally nailed it. Ngure is also working on the their SEO and he takes customer feedback well. Thank you family. Home away from home. "

"A fantastic hotel in the perfect location. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms were large with all the amenities. They upgraded us for free to a larger room which was amazing, we had incredible views of lake elementaita. Food was good and tasty, only negative is that if you go to dinner later than 8pm the food starts to run out and it’s not replenished and you get left with not much. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would also recommend the chain of hotels Serena they are of a great standard and quality."

"With breathtaking views, Sunbird lodge is a sight to behold. Since it’s located uphill, the view of lake Elementaita is magnificent. The landscaping is beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The rooms are spacious, clean and well designed. In fact you wake up the view of the lake from your room!!They also have an in-house naturalist who can take you around to see various species of birds that visit the property. They have also created bird hides, so overall great for photographers. Lake Naivasha is a 45 mins drive from the lodge. Overall I would love to come back again later. I have also attached some photographs of the place."
