"This hotel was badly let down by poor service. I suggest you allow at least an hour for breakfast, even if you're ordering the simplest things, as the service there in particular was painfully slow, even when not especially busy. Service was better at other meals, though still with room for improvement in terms of efficiency and friendliness. The quality of the food was generally good, though the Pepperpot was a big disappointment, as there was as much fat, gristle and bones as meat. In the dark sauce, these were difficult to tell apart until you bit into them - not a pleasant experience. The rooms were good, although on one occasion my wife was deluged with brown water when taking a shower, messing up her hair for days. When we mentioned this to reception, we were told that there had been a plumbing problem which was now sorted, and if we let the taps run for a bit it would be OK (It wasn't actually clear until the next day). Much netter if we'd been told in advance that there was a problem. You may also need to double-pump the toilet in order to get it to flush. On one occasion, I met the room cleaner. She was really friendly and did her job perfectly well. If the other staff could have matched her, this would easily have been a five star review."

Plaza Court Hotel

"All good though small room. Will check with trip.com the cost paid as it wasn’t what quoted. Will possibly consider this hotel again. Reception was good and fast. The small room makes the difference, breakfast complementary was ok but can be improved."

Kanuku Suites

"The Kanuku Suites provides limited service accommodations for mostly work related guests. I stayed here for the better part of a week. I personally found the amenities and services on the website misleading. Employees are helpful and kind but require more hospitality training. The Angel Restaurant looks like a "Bottom House" restaurant and requires serious upgrading in every department. The complimentary breakfast is pathetic. I also get the feeling there is a master servant relationship between owner and staff. Is there enough value for the price of the room. Unequivocally No. Would I come back here. Not likely. "
