"El hotel es muy económico y ofrece un buen desayuno con un yogur fantástico. La habitación cuenta con una cocina decente para preparar el desayuno si el yogur en un envase de papel reciclable no te gusta. Recomiendo llegar antes del cierre de recepción o podrías quedarte en la acera sin saber dónde dormir. Me pasó. Por suerte, un residente de larga estancia regresó al alojamiento después de un turno de noche en el Lidl local y pudo ayudarnos a mi hijo y a mí a recuperar la llave de la habitación de una caja fuerte dentro del edificio. Así que llega temprano, tómate un yogur y disfruta de la renovada estación de tren de Nimes, justo enfrente."

"BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU BUY A GIFT VOUCHER. We bought a gift voucher for one of their packages costing 500€. This was to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I have work commitments every day from April until November so we’re looking forward to using the voucher over the winter. Sadly my husband who is in the military was posted away for lots of the winter period so we made a point of ringing the chateau 1month before the expiry date to ask if it could be extended for later in the year and we were assured this would be no problem. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago when we finally had a free date to go. We rang reception and the nice lady tried to make our booking but she said she was new so it was difficult for her as the reservation included 2 massages, dinner and an overnight stay. So said she would call us back. The next day she did to tell us we couldn’t use the voucher anymore. To say we were shocked was an understatement. I finally tried for a final time yesterday to ask them to change their minds but was met with a stone wall. Although after reading all the 1star reviews that this place has received over the last 18 months I see the attitude of the manager here is a huge let down to the company that own this wonderful establishment. I will be spreading my experience far and wide to save anyone else the disappointment plus the dishonest conduct of said manager."

"We wanted to try the bistronomic restaurant at the new 5-star hotel in Nîmes: Le Grand Hôtel Dieu. The Art Deco setting is splendid, and the restaurant itself is both intimate and convivial, with friendly service and an original and delicious main course and dessert… But we certainly earned our place with a wait of well over an hour between ordering and the first course. So, kudos to the owner and staff, because they have a long way to go to become a truly competitive bistronomic establishment. Management can rest assured, though, that the biggest hurdle is already overcome regarding the price of the meal!"

Aunque no dispone de aparcamiento en el propio edificio, dispone de un servicio de aparcacoches que funciona a la perfección.
