We had a really nice visit. The room was perfect and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and really enjoyed running a b&b. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully decorated. We would highly recommend The Bulloch House.

Totally unacceptable
It wasn't very clean. It was terribly small room with limited shelf and storage space and a very old soft bed. No air conditioning. Had to stay cool with fans blowing on our face most of night. The plumbing left a lot to be desired. The sink drainage was slow. The toilet almost overflowed before receding over time. The local power crashed the next morning before anticipated. Worried about using the facilities and anticipating problems for breakfast we were forced to leave early to seek relief elsewhere. Did not see smoke detectors and wasn't clear where alternate safe exits existed
I believe a refund is warranted

Lovely, historic home! Owner Michele is a warm and welcoming hostess. Great care and attention to detail is evident in the decor, thoughtful extras for guests and exceptionally prepared breakfast! Our suite accessed a wonderful wraparound 2nd floor balcony. What a treat! Highly recommend this property and encourage people to visit the quaint town of Gananoque.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Bulloch House. Michelle was the best host, always on top of everything, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and at ease. She accommodated us very well. The breakfast was great, the service sets were stunning and the food very good. She gave us a lot of good recommendations and really made our trip better. Thank you Michelle!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience ranged from bad to downright disgusting. To start, I found someone’s dirty underwear in the spare blanket, which was utterly revolting. The loud neighbors kept me up all night with their TV and loud voices, and despite asking the administration twice to address the issue, nothing changed till we left in the morning. The stairwell reeked of pot, adding to the unpleasant atmosphere. I was also refused access to the outdoor pool before the 3 PM check-in, even though no one else was using it at the time. The room itself desperately needs an upgrade, and to top it all off, there was no chain lock on the door, making me feel even less secure. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

What a fantastic little place to stay. We could not have been made more welcome by Michele and family.
Breakfast was so good, and we met some lovely other guests there.
We will definately return if we are ever in Canada and if Michele ever comes to Wales we would love to see her and her family again.
