From booking the villa almost a year ago to finally being able to visit in Dec 2023, our whole experience was amazing. Firstly a big thank you to Christophe and Diane who took their time to arrange everything we requested for both Christmas and New Years and made my Father's 75th birthday super special. Christophe and Diane were so accommodating and even arranged a video call with us ahead of our stay to ensure we were all set to go as it was a group of 8 of us and we had hired the whole villa! Approaching the villa itself is mind-blowing and you just realise that it is just as stunning as the pictures. As soon as we got there we were given a tour by Christophe himself and we got to meet all of the staff at the villa who became like our family over our 10 nights stay. Manju and his whole team are so friendly and couldn't do enough for all of us, we truly miss them all so much. The rooms are all amazing and have unique decor, each with an ensuite. The pool area is so peaceful and we spent a lot of time out here in each day just listening to the peacock which roamed around on the grounds and could also see the monkeys in the surrounding trees. One of my favourite spots had to be in the upstairs games room which has 2 swinging chairs where you could sit with your coffee and just listen to the surrounding nature (just felt so zen). We also made use of the gym which was definitely needed after all the delicious food we were eating each day. Christmas Day which was also the same day as our dad's 75th birthday was arranged so well. Christmas dinner was amazing and the fireworks and cake which were arranged ahead of our stay made the whole evening really special. Getting around from the villa to the nearby beaches and Galle was easy to arrange. We just had to let Manju know and he arranged for 3 Tuk Tuk's to take us around and these were very reasonably priced. He also arranged our day trip to Ella with a comfortable mini van which was a memorable trip for us all. Overall we cannot fault our stay and we would love to come back to the Divine. Our last day was emotional as we felt we were leaving family behind, Manju and team we truly miss you and thank you for everything you did for us and making our stay so special.

Llegamos al hotel muy temprano en la tarde e imprimimos el número de pedido de Ctrip (versión en inglés), pero aún así tomó mucho tiempo. Sin embargo, nos pasaron a un tipo de habitación: Habitación con vistas al mar (habitación 206). La experiencia del check-in fue excelente. Como había reservado más hoteles especiales para las primeras noches, elegí Asia Leisure para la última noche porque es un hotel nuevo en 2018 y, de hecho, no me decepcionó.
Restauración: Hay dos restaurantes. Pedimos comida por 26.000 rupias, lo que sigue siendo muy económico. El desayuno se sirve en el restaurante buffet y los niños deben pagar la diferencia de precio.
Ubicación: Está a 15 minutos a pie del castillo de Galle. Cuesta entre 300 y 400 rupias ir allí en tutú, lo cual es muy conveniente.

Family run hotel in a perfect location to explore Galle fort. The hosts were very attentive and gave us recommendations for the area. They helped with printing out documents which was greatly appreciated. Tea, Coffee and filtered water are provided along with a roof terrace. You can also buy gems and jewellery in the reception area. Thank you for hosting us!

Kumu is a beautifully appointed guest house, beach front with five star service. Our daughter decided to have her destination wedding at the property, which was amazing. The staff made sure the day was memorable with a dash of Sri Lankan culture, which included traditional Sri Lankan dancers and singers, concluding with a delicious Sri Lankan Feast for all the family. Our Australian family of all ages really enjoyed the property, especially relaxing and swimming in the lovely pool. We had a variety of room types and all were well appointed and luxurious. Breakfast which is included in the tariff was the best we had in Sri Lanka. The massage was awesome and just what we all needed after travelling. Could not fault this property or its staff. The staff organised day trips to amazing Galle Fort which is only a short drive away. We hope to return as it was such a wonderful accommodation. It is awesome for groups and families and also works for couples. Social hour is a fabulous chance to enjoy a GnT with other guests. We enjoyed the company of the other guests that were from all over the world. If you prefer a quiet Social Hour there are plenty of locations on the property that you can enjoy a private drink or two. Walks on the beach are especially romantic as it is very private with hardly any people on it. However, if you are travelling with a group or a large family, and do not wish to rent a villa, this is the perfect location. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has an incredible time.

UUsuario invitadoAgnus Unawatuna is a little up into the hills, but the trip up is so worth it. The place is serene and the view is breathtaking; you get a top-down view of the ocean in all its glory, and you can even enjoy the view of the famous Galle Fort and Lighthouse from a distance. Service and amenities are amazing, and facilities are modern. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. It was a wonderful experience and the perfect place for a personal retreat! Would definitely come again if I have the chance, and have already recommended this place to some friends! Thank you!

Breakfast was great, we had 2 meals at the hotel of an evening which were magnificent and set up poolside for us which was really lovely We were thrilled with our stay . The staff were delightful, helpful and kept the villa in such beautiful condition. Laundry was organised for us which was greatly appreciated as we were on a long trip and needed this done on short notice We cannot rate this Villa highly enough. La ubicación del hotel es muy agradable, pero no es fácil. Además, el profesionalismo del personal fue loable; fueron atentos y garantizaron una experiencia sin fin durante toda mi estancia.
La combinación de ubicación, servicio y comodidad hace que el Heritage Hotel sea un lugar que me gustaría elegir de nuevo para futuras visitas a Gales.

We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

FFred ConcklinEl hotel está situado en una zona de la ciudad de Unawatuna, en la principal carretera turística. El hotel nos dejó un check-in temprano, por lo que no tuvimos que esperar en el lobby. El hotel tiene un amplio espacio con mobiliario moderno y un minibar. El aire acondicionado funciona perfectamente. La cama estaba cómoda. El baño era amplio. El agua caliente funcionó perfectamente. También las instalaciones modernas. La villa verde estaba cerca de todas las principales atracciones. Altamente recomendado para una estancia tranquila, tranquila y cómoda en la zona de Unawatuna.

UUsuario invitadoI stayed few times at this hotel of which one time 2 months. It is central and close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a communal kitchenette. The owner gave me access to the gym for free which was ofcourse a great service. I had room number one which gave me full view to the ocean as well as the backside village which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place

MMichael8787Плюсы отеля - очень неплохой завтрак, ужин. Шведский стол. Очень изобильный. Есть и морепродукты , и местная кухня. Очень вкусно.
Также хочется отметить традиционное для сети Марриот качество постели. Спалось на нем прекрасно.
Пляж в этом месте отличный. Можно спокойно купаться - волны не такие сильные. Всё очень живописно , если пройти налево и направо.
Теперь о недостатках. К сожалению, их больше. Персонал очень не вежлив, чувствовалось, что тебе здесь не рады, делают одолжение. Наигранные улыбки. В день выезда чуть позже 12 на несколько минут персонал стал стучаться в дверь и требовать освободить номер. Разве это достойно такой сети отелей ?
Когда попытался расплатиться на ресепшн картой Юнион Пэй, персонал сказал, что терминал для российских карт не работает. Хотя, в других местах и отелях на Шри-Ланке всё работало без проблем и удавалось оплатить везде. Такое поведение я объясняю неклиенториентированностью, что опять же, очень странно для отеля такой сети, как Марриот и для сервиса.
Также я хочу отметить, что в этом отеле не оказалось ортопедических подушек или любых других подушек - при попытке узнать про эту возможность, мне грубо ответили , что других подушек нет и всё. В общем, за персонал, сервис и его отношение - жирный минус и плохая оценка

UUsuario invitadoThe room was spacious enough and comfortable. The room had a beautiful sea view. We opted for breakfast inclusive package and the food was average. The night we had dinner in the same restaurant and we ordered chicken and it wasn’t cooked well. When we informed the same to the staff he was rude to us and was like this is how we cook the chicken. Other than this we had a good stay
