Family run hotel in a perfect location to explore Galle fort. The hosts were very attentive and gave us recommendations for the area. They helped with printing out documents which was greatly appreciated. Tea, Coffee and filtered water are provided along with a roof terrace. You can also buy gems and jewellery in the reception area. Thank you for hosting us!

I stayed few times at this hotel of which one time 2 months. It is central and close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and there is also a communal kitchenette. The owner gave me access to the gym for free which was ofcourse a great service. I had room number one which gave me full view to the ocean as well as the backside village which I really enjoyed. I highly recommend this place

La habitación que me dio fue muy espaciosa, limpia, bien equipada y especialmente el baño más ducha era apreciable, ya que le da una impresión natural extra. Nipun, su esposa, su madre y la chica que ayuda con el trabajo diario, todos estaban muy atentos a cuidar de mis solicitudes y siempre disponible instantáneamente. Прям центр Хиккадувы, все рядом ..кафе, магазины.

Kumu is a beautifully appointed guest house, beach front with five star service. Our daughter decided to have her destination wedding at the property, which was amazing. The staff made sure the day was memorable with a dash of Sri Lankan culture, which included traditional Sri Lankan dancers and singers, concluding with a delicious Sri Lankan Feast for all the family. Our Australian family of all ages really enjoyed the property, especially relaxing and swimming in the lovely pool. We had a variety of room types and all were well appointed and luxurious. Breakfast which is included in the tariff was the best we had in Sri Lanka. The massage was awesome and just what we all needed after travelling. Could not fault this property or its staff. The staff organised day trips to amazing Galle Fort which is only a short drive away. We hope to return as it was such a wonderful accommodation. It is awesome for groups and families and also works for couples. Social hour is a fabulous chance to enjoy a GnT with other guests. We enjoyed the company of the other guests that were from all over the world. If you prefer a quiet Social Hour there are plenty of locations on the property that you can enjoy a private drink or two. Walks on the beach are especially romantic as it is very private with hardly any people on it. However, if you are travelling with a group or a large family, and do not wish to rent a villa, this is the perfect location. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone has an incredible time.

Плюсы отеля - очень неплохой завтрак, ужин. Шведский стол. Очень изобильный. Есть и морепродукты , и местная кухня. Очень вкусно.
Также хочется отметить традиционное для сети Марриот качество постели. Спалось на нем прекрасно.
Пляж в этом месте отличный. Можно спокойно купаться - волны не такие сильные. Всё очень живописно , если пройти налево и направо.
Теперь о недостатках. К сожалению, их больше. Персонал очень не вежлив, чувствовалось, что тебе здесь не рады, делают одолжение. Наигранные улыбки. В день выезда чуть позже 12 на несколько минут персонал стал стучаться в дверь и требовать освободить номер. Разве это достойно такой сети отелей ?
Когда попытался расплатиться на ресепшн картой Юнион Пэй, персонал сказал, что терминал для российских карт не работает. Хотя, в других местах и отелях на Шри-Ланке всё работало без проблем и удавалось оплатить везде. Такое поведение я объясняю неклиенториентированностью, что опять же, очень странно для отеля такой сети, как Марриот и для сервиса.
Также я хочу отметить, что в этом отеле не оказалось ортопедических подушек или любых других подушек - при попытке узнать про эту возможность, мне грубо ответили , что других подушек нет и всё. В общем, за персонал, сервис и его отношение - жирный минус и плохая оценка

UUsuario invitadoAgnus Unawatuna is a little up into the hills, but the trip up is so worth it. The place is serene and the view is breathtaking; you get a top-down view of the ocean in all its glory, and you can even enjoy the view of the famous Galle Fort and Lighthouse from a distance. Service and amenities are amazing, and facilities are modern. Rooms are clean and well-equipped. It was a wonderful experience and the perfect place for a personal retreat! Would definitely come again if I have the chance, and have already recommended this place to some friends! Thank you!

Breakfast was great, we had 2 meals at the hotel of an evening which were magnificent and set up poolside for us which was really lovely We were thrilled with our stay . The staff were delightful, helpful and kept the villa in such beautiful condition. Laundry was organised for us which was greatly appreciated as we were on a long trip and needed this done on short notice We cannot rate this Villa highly enough. En general, el personal era hermoso: en particular Chamindu en el restaurante, un guardia de seguridad que me llamó y mi compañero para mostrarnos tortugas en la playa (sorry, no recuerdo su nombre) y el tipo que trabajaba los alcantarillados en la piscina inferior. La ubicación del hotel es muy agradable, pero no es fácil. Además, el profesionalismo del personal fue loable; fueron atentos y garantizaron una experiencia sin fin durante toda mi estancia.
La combinación de ubicación, servicio y comodidad hace que el Heritage Hotel sea un lugar que me gustaría elegir de nuevo para futuras visitas a Gales.

We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

Como había reservado más hoteles especiales para las primeras noches, elegí Asia Leisure para la última noche porque es un hotel nuevo en 2018 y, de hecho, no me decepcionó.
Restauración: Hay dos restaurantes. Pedimos comida por 26.000 rupias, lo que sigue siendo muy económico. El desayuno se sirve en el restaurante buffet y los niños deben pagar la diferencia de precio.
Ubicación: Está a 15 minutos a pie del castillo de Galle. Cuesta entre 300 y 400 rupias ir allí en tutú, lo cual es muy conveniente.
Paquetes: La piscina al aire libre tiene una vista excelente, se puede ver la vista al mar y la ciudad antigua. Debido a que está ubicada en la salida del viento, solo está abierta hasta las 8 en punto todas las noches. Los tipos de equipamiento del gimnasio de la planta G son medios.

The night we had dinner in the same restaurant and we ordered chicken and it wasn’t cooked well. When we informed the same to the staff he was rude to us and was like this is how we cook the chicken. Other than this we had a good stay

Nuestra estadia en El Citrus Hotel Hikkaduwa fue hermosa … los chicos de la Reception bien amables y disponibles a cualquier pregunta, nos ayudaron en todo momento, la habitación siempre limpia. Los chicos de la piscina o jardines súper atentos igualmente los del restaurant siempre sonrientes 😁 amables .. La preparación de la comida típica un poco picante 🔥 pero aceptable yo adoro comer arroz 🍚 y Los currys me encantan, todos los días había un pudín diferente fresco caliente delicioso. Tienes la oportunidad de hacer un recorrido por la zona Justo al frente hay cantidad de tuk tuk 🛺 con los cuales debes negociar el precio … carreras cortas no más de 200 Rupien. Se celebran matrimonios privados los cuales me parecen súper interesantes para conocer la cultura y escuchar la música. Lo único algo desagradable es la cantidad de extranjeros mal educados y de baja calidad humana que están visitando el hotel últimamente, tratan mal a los empleados y se quejan de cualquier tontería. Pero el hotel hace su trabajo bien lo recomiendo encantada !!
