I travelled to the Maldives with my wife and daughter to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The staff at the Sheraton have been phenomenal. Niki, the loyalty supervisor, was the first person we met at the resort and her care and personal attention have been remarkable. She made an impression on our daughter who shared a flower with her. Niki took time out of her schedule and wrote our daughter a note and shared a beautiful seashell with her in exchange. It truly is the little things. A young man new to the resort working in the Anchorage Bar from, I think from Uzbekistan, has checked in on us when he has seen us around the resort. He is always willing to see if he could be of assistance. The last two nights, we have eaten at Sea Salt. The food was excellent and we couldn’t resist going back again. The hostess Anastasia, was welcoming and arranged a great spot to dine when we made our reservation earlier that day. Our server, Shuraih was fantastic. He always made sure our daughter was well taken care of. Tuo Tuo at Anchorage bar, was nice enough to create a special drink for our daughter. The Executive chef, Chef Murugesan at Sea Salt came to speak with us after our meals and we could not stop expressing our delight with our meals. Teges, the Hostess at Feast and the Housekeeping supervisor all went out of their way to check in on us. We came across many more staff, all of whose names we aren’t able to remember at this moment, who went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful anniversary trip. Coming from Houston, it was an effort for us to get to the Maldives. Especially given some last minute flight cancellations and rerouting. The staff at the Sheraton made those challenges melt away with the way they have treated us. Don’t hesitate to stay here. You will not be disappointed.
