Superb location is absolutely perfect. Supermarket next door follow the street to your right there is a heavenly Gelato shop. The staff were great offered a lot of support.

Então é assim, o ar condicionado só faz barulho, não faz frio, o sinal de wi-fi, quando há, é intermitente, como a televisão recebe o sinal via wi-fi, tv também é para esquecer. Por falar em esquecimentos, caiu no esquecimento o pedido na recepção de uma ficha tripla, porque tv, frigorífico e candeiro de pé, estes 3 equipamentos estavam para uma tomada (ver foto). Portanto, tinhamos de escolher, ou frigorífico, ou televisão (sem sinal), ou candeeiro, um must. A localização do hotel é boa, quanto à limpeza, nada a dizer e o pequeno almoço, que sendo fraco, não comprometeu. Resumindo, reservou-se o alojamento com determinados pressupostos para umas noites de descanso e tal não aconteceu naquilo que era essencial, dormir. Com o calor houve dificuldade em adormecer e acordou-se a meio da noite, igualmente com calor ... esta reserva não cumpriu a sua função.

Goed hotel in het centum van Funchal. Goede grote kamer, we hadden zeelucht. Het ontbijt was goed maar niet uitgebreid. Er is geen restaurant in het hotel maar voldoende in de omgeving. Ook handig is de supermarkt naast het hotel. Op de kamer was een airco aanwezig.

Ехала в отель, ориентируясь на отзывы 2016 года... с тех пор ничего не поменялось. Т.к. скай ап запустил регулярные рейсы в Фуншал, надеюсь отзыв будет полезен. Итак. Если вы едете организованно, будьте готовы к тому, что под отель вас автобус не подвезет. Идти недалеко, 4 квартала (небольших) 2 прямо и 2 направо вниз. Соответственно в обратном направлении вверх и налево))) Теперь о самом отеле. Выбирать его нужно для короткого отдыха, чтобы осмотреть город близлежащие достопримечательности и не очень рассчитывать на пляж.. ведь в нескольких минутах ходьбы рынок, старая часть города с собором, 2 нормальных супермаркета, канатная дорога на гору Монте (тропический сад на ней - обязателен к посещению). Возле канатной дороги - самый ближний и как выяснилось, самый безопасный бесплатный пляж без волн. Отель небольшой ~на 30 номеров. Комнаты довольно просторные, есть балкон (номер 306), холодильник, кондиционер, фен, очень хороший wi-fi, большой шкаф много ящичков в тумбах. Сейф платный 1€/сут+депозит 5€, который возвращается. Ужины проходят в соседнем отеле с 19.30 до 21.30 порционно, выбираете из 2 вариантов меню. Напитки на ужин платные. Если не успели на ужин - он доставляется в номер.Из косметики только мыло и пакетики с гелем/шампунем. В соседнем отеле Виндзор есть маленький бассейн на крыше. Теперь минусы к которым просто надо быть готовым и они не будут минусами))) 1. Завтрак. Ничего горячего. 2 вида колбасы, 1 вид сыра. Булочки, джемы, хлопья и йогурт. Яиц нет ни в каком виде. Кофе - растворимый. Чай есть готовый либо пакетированный. 2. Одна розетка в номере. Далеко от кроватей. Правда перед отъездом я обнаружила вторую, но этого все равно мало)) берите тройник. 3. Если едете в одиночку, на холодильник надежд не питайте, т.к. он отключается, когда вы уходите из номера. 4. Может мне не повезло, но кондиционер был мега слабым и мега шумным ((( В целом, имея самый скромный ценник, отель очень даже неплох. Звукоизоляция нормальная. Кровати удобные. В последний день познакомилась с горничной из Украины. Если она читает этот отзыв- спасибо вам огромное за помощь!!! Всему персоналу также. Мадейра удивительна, приветлива и очень красива.

Stayed here for a week with my Mum. Wanted somewhere central so we had everything on our doorstep. This hotel fitted the bill perfectly. All the shops restaurants and bars were all easily on hand. The staff were amazing- nothing too much trouble. Great recommendations for dinner, the best Puncha and all the must see attractions. Room was large with great high pressure shower and immaculately clean. Will definitely return. Have the use of the sister hotel Windsor with its rooftop pool and nice foyer bar which we frequented regularly and loved the staff there too,

Stayed in the fifth floor. Balcony was a joke so do not worth paying extra money. Cleaning was not working at all. I got some broken class to my toe in the first nite from moving the bed.. reception was good and the young lady at the breakfast. They were helpful

I would give full points had there been a more varied breakfast, but other than that, the hotel is absolutely fine. Great location, good friendly staff, and a perfectly functioning shower :) There is a little fridge in the room but no coffee or tea making tools, so you might want to take your own. Breakfast is 98% the same every single morning. Different bread, one type of cheese and ham, marmalades, cereals, apples, and pears. All in all, a great accommodation nevertheless!

We were booked here and upon arrival at 10:30 pm were told they were overbooked. Apparently there was a system issue and several others were without a room. The front desk employee was lovely and arranged another hotel for us and a taxi to bring us there. We ended-up at a fine hotel. However, it was 40 mins from the center. I am not sure if the glitch was on their end, **********, etc. but I don’t understand why we weren’t contacted prior to arrival given that all the arrangements were made for us to relocate.

The staff were very nice and friendly. Also very willing to help me.
