"Personally, I didn’t enjoy this hotel very much, as it felt a bit old and somewhat eerie — especially when I checked in at midnight and had to do laundry alone, haha. That said, I wouldn’t say it’s a bad choice overall. The location is excellent — just a 2–3 minute walk from Fukushima Station — and the room rates are very reasonable. Getting a single room for around SGD 50 is a rare find in major cities like Tokyo or Osaka. For travelers looking for a short stay or a convenient stopover before heading to Yamagata, this hotel is definitely a solid option."

"The hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, were spacious, and we were also able to use the baths in the annex (Keisenso). Both use their own hot spring source, and the water is clear, odorless, and a simple spring, but it's slightly alkaline, so it felt soothing on the skin. The facilities are a bit old, and the WiFi only works up to the front desk, but the accommodation fee was very reasonable, so I have no complaints. We booked a room without meals included, but there are restaurants and izakayas within walking distance, which is convenient."

"I was looking for a place to stay where I could bring my pet, and I found this inn. They have a family bath, and their website said it could be used whenever it was available, but in reality, you had to make a reservation at the front desk and borrow a key. Honestly, the facilities are old, but the food is delicious! Or rather, the food was prepared with care, and you could really feel the care they put into making sure our guests enjoyed their meal. They don't use high-end ingredients, but I could tell the food was carefully prepared. I also ordered a local sake tasting set, and the young owner kindly explained the sake to me, allowing me to enjoy different types of sake. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, and I was really full. In the evening, I had the chance to interact with the inn's famous cats, which was fun."
