A great spot for a quiet, romantic getaway that is still close enough to town to walk there. No load-shedding (!), easy access, wifi, satellite TV, full kitchen. Has a gas heater for those cold winter nights.

Our 2 week stay here was perfect and great value. Barbara was quick to respond if we needed anything. The unit was really spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed, including an inverter and gas stove so that we hardly noticed the loadshedding. We loved having our meals on the patio! A short walk to town so very convenient.

Arriving on a warm evening, and after dropping my bags, it was a quick drive (or I could have walked) to the nearest grocery store to find supper. An alternative would have been one of many restaurants I passed, from casual to chic. Back "home", I found the patio/porch the ideal place to sit and unwind. It is quiet and secluded. There was a welcoming basket of shortbread to nibble with my evening tea (an assortment of tea and coffee was available, along with fresh milk in the fridge.) These thoughtful touches made me feel so welcome - Barbara is a wonderful host.

We stayed at Sunny Lane most of January 2023 (4 weeks) and have nothing but praise for this place. Centrally located just a couple of blocks away form the main street (where most of the shops and restaurants are), yet so quiet and peaceful. We stayed at their big unit (there’s one big and one small). This was a spacious flat with lounge/kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. All rooms of generous size. Lots of wardrobe space as well. Well equipped kitchen. Outside area consisted of a big shady porch with dining table and two comfortable chairs + a shared, well-sized pool with a small lawn/sunlounging area. (shared only with the other unit). The host, Barbara, was always discreet, but very helpful if you asked for anything. Just as we like it. We loved this place so much, we already booked our next stay!

We were staying 2 nights for Wine Tram. Sunny Lanes was just great: Excellent huge flat, very nice pool, quiet ... everything you could want. 5 * recommendation! Thanks so much to Barbara & Faith and their staff!

we loved staying here, it is walking distance to the centre of town and all facilities, but quiet and peaceful to return to. We will visit Franschhoek again and we would love to stay at Sunny Lane each time we stay over

We had a great weekend here in beautiful surroundings, easy access to amenities, a very quiet, comfortable and spacious cottage in a private garden. Superb service, safe environment allowed us to stroll around the village at ease.

Sunny Lane was the most comfortable stay because we were provided with everything we needed and more. We had an amazing view of the pool and the service from the host was excellent. I would definitely book again with them.

Acomodação espaçosa e confortável. Com todas as comodidades disponíveis. Excelente espaço. Ótima localização, bem no centro de Franschoek. Banheiro espaçoso com banheira e chuveiro separados. Vale muito a reserva!
