Personnel très disponible et très sympathique.Etant deux amis voyageant, nous désirions une chambre avec deux lits simples mais seule une chambre à lit double nous avait été attribué, une simple demande d'avoir des lits simple et ils nous a donné une chambre gratuitement!!!

I booked a standard room (not expecting a great view but the view I got was very disappointing, when I asked about a room change the reception Manager stated 'well you only booked a standard room' this room was substandard
I had to pay an extra £20 per night just so I didn't have to look at green mould on the wall outside.The floors are so creaky we were woken up every time someone moved in the corridor or rooms above and below
That said the rest of the staff were excellent and friendly and the food was good

When I checked in there was an issue (light burned out in the hallway outside my room). Jhon was very helpful in first, trying to get it fixed, and then ultimately putting me in a different room. He was very professional and efficient.
The staff and other guests were all respecting masking & social distancing rules, making it feel safe and comfortable.
The rooms have clearly been given a recent upgrade and are very sleek and modern. The main areas should be next since they look a bit dated and worn (carpet, etc.). Overall a great place to stay for a few days!

Beautiful hotel with a fantastic view of Loch Linnhe. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were charming and helpful. We didn't get everyone's names, but Johnny and Callum at the bar & restaurant were delightful.

Really enjoyed my stay. Hotel has clearly undergone a recent renovation and size and standard of accommodation was high. The old staircase is a bit loud and creaky for thise that may be light sleepers (I had no problems), but that comes with the character of such a beautiful old building. Staff were very helpful and friendly, although I did feel the hotel was somewhat understaffed for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was the only slight dissapointment with the self service buffet leaving food a bit lukewarm, albeit the selection on offer was excellent. I would certainly stay again on my next trip to the area.

The hotel is beautiful. The dinner was fraught with staffing problems. There was dinner for a bus-load of people in the back room and not enough servers for the rest of us.

Firstly, the staff was very accommodating when I requested a different room upon arrive because the first room to which I was assigned was directly above the bar and incredibly loud. They made up a different room for me which was much appreciated. However, overall I found my stay lackluster. The shower was impossible to adjust to make it spray downwards, and the water was a dingy brown color from all the taps. I was so exhausted I didn’t notice when I fell into bed the first night, but the next day when I returned to my room I noticed copious amounts of hair all across the top of the duvet, and it didn’t belong to me. Overall, if I had the trip to do over, I wouldn’t stay here again.
