En la llegada nos conocíamos en la recepción por un hombre muy lleno de retrasos. El tipo nos informó que habíamos sido actualizados, y nuestra habitación estaba mirando la habitación del lago era grande y bien mantenido, La cama era enorme habría dormido cuatro si estás en ese tipo de cosas El Hotel está cerca de la calle alta y la estación Sólo queja fue el ruido que viene de la habitación arriba .Suena como si estaban usando zapatos Doc Martin en los pies, pero, por supuesto, el Hotel no puede ser Quizás podrían poner una nota en las habitaciones preguntando que respetan a la gente en la habitación debajo de una punta.Los restaurantes se ocupan muy pronto, ya que hay muchos norteamericanos que se quedan en la zona, Así que recomendaría que reservas una mesa cuando sea posible

El hotel es muy agradable, y la recepción es muy amable. También tienen un restaurante y un bar abajo, que es un verdadero ahorro para nosotros después de un largo día de conducción.

Absolutely shocking! Don’t waste your money. Our room was tiny & you couldn’t open the bathroom door fully because the chairs were in the way. I really felt like the best rooms were given to the coach party guests & not the independent (or maybe English) travellers. The lounge was the only area to take drinks but unlike what’s advertised, the cosy fires consisted of electric plug in fake wood burners & worn, smelly sofas. (See photos) The restaurant was shockingly overbooked & understocked. We couldn’t get a decent meal on either night we stayed & felt they were more interested in the amount of covers v the quality. For a ‘celebrated’ seafood restaurant, to have very little seafood on the first night & even less, almost none on the second was disgusting. The bar staff were very rude & the manager nowhere to be found even though we asked many times to speak to them (I don’t like leaving a bad review before talking face to face). This hotel felt like theme park for the overseas coach parties and not what we wanted at all. At £250 a night??? Shockingly bad. If you want an authentic highland hotel, try the Altnahrra Hotel. A fraction of the price and the other end of the scale. Absolutely ruined our holiday at this dump

Hablemos de ello primero, 1) La ubicación es mejor, justo en la calle principal. 2) Las camas parecen higiénicas. También hay malas: 1) El baño no es pequeño, pero las instalaciones son extremadamente pequeñas. El lavabo mide solo unos diez centímetros, casi no hay mano debajo del grifo y no se puede lavar la cara. La ducha utiliza una cortina. 2) La recepción se comparte directamente con la recepción del restaurante en el primer piso, que está muy concurrido. Otros aspectos son bastante satisfactorios, como el desayuno.

Went for 2 nights we had the wee room on the top floor, not much headroom . The room was an ok size had tv,shower no bath, bed was so comfee . Dressing gowns and slippers in the room. Free products for the shower. Coffee making facilities in your room including decaff tea and coffee. The place is very remote and we eat in there restaurant on the first night. I had the special, ribs unfortunately they were not great very tough and couldn't eat them, but everyone else's meals were good. They have a bar that opens till 11pm and a pool table. Breakfast was included and was lovely. You could choose off a menu and a good selection, including full English. Basket of bread and blueberry muffins on the table. Staff were lovely very friendly to us. The only negatives were * hairdryers was too hot as hair friezes, take your own. * shower power is very poor and if someone else is using it somewhere it goes to a drip. * the price, very expensive for a very wee room. Bigger toom was over £100 more. Just half a mile away is the lake and viaduct that was used in the second Harry Potter film worth a look and it has a pay and display car park.

We stayed at the Corriegour Lodge Hotel for 2 nights between the 9th - 11th of September. The Lodge is a wonderful old converted Hunting Lodge by Loch Lochy, which is between Loch Ness and Spean Bridge. The Lodge is around halfway down the Loch and is isolated from most local amenities, that may be a good thing for some people or it may be a bad thing, you will certainly have to drive for a good 15 - 20 minutes to get to the nearest town (Spean Bridge), but I'm assuming most people staying at the lodge will have transport so shouldn't be a problem. The owners are very nice people who do their upmost to ensure that your stay is the best it can be. Also to note that the Lodge does have its own private beach which you can use (we never did, but you can), however, the Lodge sits the other side of the A82 from the Loch, meaning, in order to use the beach you have to cross the relatively busy road. When looking at the pictures of the Lodge on Trip Advisor you could be easily mistaken for thinking that the Lodge sits right on the edge of the Loch, but that's not the case, something to bear in mind. The grounds of the Lodge itself are very nice with ample parking, complete with its own waterfall in the back garden. The room we had was Room 4 which had a nice view of Loch Lochy (see pictures), the room itself was a decent size, had its own small bathroom with toilet, sink and shower and was very clean. The bed was large and comfortable. We were aware of the prices of the restaurant for the evening meal and so decided not to eat at the lodge for our evening meal, instead choosing to eat at some other local restaurants which were very good. However, we did have breakfast every morning (as it was included in the price). You have to make your breakfast selection the night before which wasn't an issue for us, but for some people it may feel a bit limiting. The breakfast itself was very nice, every morning I had the full breakfast, Bacon, Egg, Lorne Sausage (which is like a square sausage, quite nice). The only thing I felt was that the breakfast was a bit dry, due to the lack of serving something like Baked Beans with the full breakfast, but, to be fair your getting a full Scottish Breakfast not an English one. The views out of the restaurant are stunning, looking out over Loch Lochy and the Great Glen. There are 2 rooms downstairs which are for exclusive use by the hotel guests, these are a wonderful sitting room with a log fire and a small whiskey bar which sells a variety of bottled beers, ciders and of course whiskeys. It's a nice place to have a drink, but just be aware that the prices are not cheap. The lodge itself is decorated in a very rustic old style which we actually really liked and think it makes the Lodge seem very warm and cosy, almost like stepping back in time, which is a good thing. This may not be to everyone's taste, if you are the sort of traveler who likes new and modern then this place is not for you. I personally enjoyed my

What a wonderful spot with wonderful staff and the comfiest pillows. Johnny the manager went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect...even dried off our boots from walking in the hills so that we were all set for our next hiking trip. This hotel is true highland hospitality. Every member of staff greeted us like old friends and wanted to hear about our day. The hotel has been newly decorated and has been tastefully done. We cant wait to go back to see Johnny and all our new friends we made.
