We always enjoy our experience at the Tides. I stay here frequently, however, we did not have hot water in the shower, which was unfortunate for the cold weather.

We enjoyed our stay at Tides Folly Beach Hotel. The room was very clean and quiet. The staff was exceptional! The young lady in the coffee shop was always very friendly and was very professional. The hotel is very close to some good restaurants and we were able to walk to every one that we ate at. Good view of the beach and fishing pier. We stayed during the off season so crowds were not a problem. Definitely recommend them!

Would return again. Nice ocean front rooms, great staff, easy parking and convenient walkable area. Didn't like the scented lobby.

For the cost, this hotel is in a desperate need of an upgrade. It’s not inviting. The horrible perfume smell in the lobby is gross. It smells like a holister but worse. We would stay here again only for the convenience and since folly doesn’t have many other hotels to offer (especially in the beach).

Last minute stay at Folly Beach. Hotel was beautiful and well maintained. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Views are 10/10.

Only there for one night. The staff seemed nice and friendly enough. The shower was cold, the slider door was stuck. Would have loved extra blankets

We always love our stays at The Tides. Jay and all of the staff are great. Folly is a great place to visit and the Tides is right on the beach and in the middle of all of the action. We travel a lot and this is one of our favorites.

The view was amazing with easy access to the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful with questions and requests. The only thing that would make it better is to have an on-site laundry. There is one on Hudson St., but limited machines and with washer/dryer it was $10/load.
