Hermitage Bay - All Inclusive

This is truly a magical place!! From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were greeted with VIP service, fast pass through customs lines and a personal transfer, all provided by the hotel. We were then received with a "Welcome Home" and this was the vibe we got from all the wonderful staff and management all the days we were there. The resort is like no other in the Caribbean, it has the most incredible scenery, the setting is perfectly secluded with a beautiful landscape, gorgeous beach, spectacular views from the hilltop rooms and delicious food. But what really makes this resort top notch is the amazing people there. Starting with Jacquan and his warm welcoming, Shalanda in member services who more than once went out of her way to ensure we had a smile in our faces at all times, Stoney, Jessie and Kyle who were always so attentive to detail and all our needs in the bar and at the beach, Anthony was the live of the party along with the wonderful live band that would bring the perfect ambiance during and after dinner. Abby and Jillian at the restaurant always with the greatest smiles and we also had the pleasure of meeting one of the Chefs on his way to the garden to get condiments for dinner, everything is made fresh and the menu changes daily. Rachel, the general manager which we had the pleasure of speaking to as well, was a delight, we could tell she is the pillar of this amazing place and her love and pride for this resort is what makes it run so well. We will definitely be returning very soon because this is the most amazing place if you are looking for a memorable experience, gorgeous location, great people, a relaxing vacation and outstanding food.

We fell in love with this hotel. From the first minute we got there, we felt in paradise. The staff is charming, every one of them, and they make you feel very cared for and pampered. The food is at the height of the top resort. Our suite directly overlooks the paradise beach with magical sunrises, a more than generous size and a successful decoration. No doubt we will return very soon. Thank you, Rachel and your team, for treating us so well

As far as we are concerned, there is no place in the world better than Hermitage Bay. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary on May 31, 2024. The reason we chose Hermitage Bay for this celebration is because we spent our honeymoon there 10 years ago. We had such a special, amazing trip that we promised ourselves we would return. I am so glad that we did; I can't imagine a more special celebration than the one we had. From the moment we stepped out of the airport and was greeted by the staff driver, every single staff person made us feel like we were on the most special trip of our lives. Actually, to be honest that feeling started the minute we booked and received a personalized, warm, and thorough email preparing us for our stay. The team is truly a master class in customer service. There are a lot of beautiful, luxurious places in the world but Hermitage Bay stands out because of the setting, the food, and especially the staff. We love that the setting is low key but extremely high quality. We love that it exists in the natural environment and uses food from its own garden. The chef is phenomenal. I'm not a foodie, but I was taking pictures of my food at meals and looking forward to every opportunity to eat. The live music, the spa, and the daily Pilates and yoga take things to the next level. Above all, the staff make the experience uniquely special. Our connections with them made our trip what it was. We reconnected with several staff who were there 10 years ago for our honeymoon and met new staff who felt like family by the time we left. Whatever Hermitage Bay is doing to recruit and nurture this caliber of staff, they are doing it right!

Amazing. I went for my 50th birthday with my husband, and it turned out to be as special, relaxing and beautiful as I had hoped. The place manages to run everything so that it feels very relaxing and chill, without guests seeing all the work that must go on behind the scenes to pull that off! The beach and view are gorgeous - the food is wonderful -- lots of options that happen to be healthy too and lots of vegetables and fruits always. Open minibar and fresh treats everyday in room...You never have to sign anything (it's all-inclusive) -- I literally had no issues or little annoyances the entire time. We were in a hilltop suite which was fabulous had a great wraparound terrace with dip pool (you can see from photo). They have morning yoga or pilates and you can also book privates with the teacher, who was terrific. A few notes to bear in mind -- the walk to hilltop rooms is like a little hike on the paved path, but you can always take a golf cart so not an issue, just would mention that those rooms are not a fit for anyone super unstable on their feet. But their are rooms on the beach too (they may be smaller, not sure). Book spa appointments in advance of going ideally. The spa is small and laid back -- I only saw one therapist working there but I enjoyed my appointments.

I couldn't imagine a better vacation. If you're looking for a low-key, relaxing vacation in a gorgeous location with outstanding food, this is the place for you! The hillside pool suites, staff, afternoon and evening live musicians, and food were superb. We visited 10 years ago for our honeymoon and again now for our 10 year anniversary. Hermitage Bay is still perfection! I told my husband we have to go back again for our 15 year anniversary!

The Hermitage Bay lived up to all of the wonderful things we read on Trip Advisor. This is a truly special place with an incredible group of amazing people who believe in the quality of service that they deliver. The combination of natural beauty and comfort is unparalleled. The sea water is calm, warm, and extremely clean. The food is delicious and the menu changes daily but there is still something fresh and healthy for everyone. We took a trip to English Harbor with a fantastic driver named Luz - saw the sunset from Shirley’s and enjoyed the steel drum band. This place is hard to leave!
