What an amazing Riad. From helping my taxi driver find the riad to an easy check-in and then a stunning room. thank you to all of the staff for making my stay so fantastic.

Ryad Alya was beyond beautiful. Our check in was handled by Houssen and I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was. He helped get our train tickets for the following day. He made sure we were happy and content with our beautiful upgraded room. He should be given every opportunity to advance in this profession. Houssen could teach a class on customer service!!

Booking a Ryad in Maroc can be a tricky thing: fake reviews, no bills or receipts, no POS, unexpected extra charges.. I had this kind of bad experience too and I also met tourists with similar complaints. Riad Alya Fez is a different story, because they really behave professionally , and they behave professionally because this is a strategy they assumed like that. They really have procedures!! Like writing to you, offering you solutions, answering you very fast, and above all being earnest. The Ryad has a good position (at the entrance in the Medina) is clean (your room will be cleaned every day), quite, they cook you good food for reasonable prices. I simply felt safe and well received.

PROS: This was an incredible accommodation indeed. Beautiful inside. Very close to the medina, with easy access for those arriving by car. Very fresh in an intensely hot town (＞40º) and truly nice hosts. The room was very big and the bathroom was in a kind of a mezzanine level, with a huge area. The room was clean. The night host, Hassan, was very nice and friendly. He really took care of us and made us feel at home. The roff has an unbelievable view for the medina. The breakfast was above average, very varied and all products fresh and very tasty. The cook tried to made some variations of local food just for so we could taste them at breakfast. Incredible. CONS This riad was wonderful and these cons are just minor actually. The bathroom in a different level is somewhat tiresome during the night. The room was discreetly noisy since it was facing the alley.

I forgot my sneakers at the room and the riad staff made it to send them back to me. They made sure that I recovered them. So thankful for that! The staff is always welcoming and available for you, we arrived late to our Hammam session due to some problems on our way to Fez, they were very understanding, still offered us a tea and waited while we went for dinner. They gave us the best advices to move around Fez, they prepared a tea for us in the rooftop terrace at 00.30am. Hammam is a must if you stay in this riad, is an amazing ritual really worth it to experience, we wanted to do it in couple and they adapted to our requests. If you hire it in advance, bathrobes and slippers will be waiting for you in your room. I highly recommend to also get the 45min massage, you will leave the spa area completely refreshed and relaxed. The feeling going back to your room on your bathrobe after the whole treatment + massage was the the icing on the cake of our holidays. Afterwords, We enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room, the suite Casablanca was amazing! Breakfast is incredible, on another occasion I visited Fez, I had dinner at the riad restaurant and the food was also delicious!

We stayed at Ryad Alya for week. We were sad to leave. It was a comfortable and relaxing place. Beautiful building, good food roomy suites and beautiful rooftop terrace. WiFi is a bit spotty. They need to add more routers. Kind helpful staff. We loved Fes and Ryad Alya was a big part of that. Thank you to everyone there. Definitely recommend Ryad Alya.

My sister and I stayed at Riad Alya for two nights as part of our Tour of Morocco and from the moment we confirmed the booking the service and attention has truly been exceptional. We were contacted well in advance to confirm details, requirements, transfer requests, tips on local attractions etc and once we arrived, one of the employees - Hussein - was on hand to greet us with a big smile, mint tea and cakes and further suggestions on how to make the most of our time. The Riad is very conveniently located right next to a major pick up point for tours, taxis, buses etc whilst still being in close proximity to the Blue Gate. Rooms are rustic but very spacious and comfortable and the view from the roof terrace is truly spectacular. For us, Hussein is the star of the show - attentive, friendly and always looking to ensure we had a great time. On the first day we had to leave for a tour hours before breakfast started but he brought breakfast forward just for us. He then recommended the best way to traverse the Medina without getting lost. On the second day we had to check out early to catch a train and he sent us off with packaged breakfasts so we didn't have to go without. We later discovered that he woke up early (even though his shift didn't start until the evening) on both days just to do this for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and our conversations about Moroccan life with Hussein and would not hesitate to recommend Riad Alya to all our friends .

Extremely happy with our stay at Riad Alya. We were two single female travellers who booked two nights in Sept 2021. The Riad is absolutely stunning, the room we stayed in - Marrakesh suite, was spacious with very beautiful decor. The Riad also looked new and located in a walkable distance from the medina but still in a quiet area. The staff were warm, and accommodating. Huge thank you to Hossein for making our stay enjoyable and to the manager who was also very kind and warm.

Ryad elegante e ricco di fascino. Camere arredate elegantemente e dotate di ogni comfort, specie le suites. Il ristorante nel patio è incantevole; mangiato forse il miglior tajine della nostra permanenza in Marocco. Personale garbato e disponibile. Una esperienza molto piacevole
