Hotel Coco

I recently stayed at Hotel Coco in Felixstowe during a business trip, and it exceeded all expectations. My room was amazing—spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day of work. The breakfast was superb, offering plenty of delicious choices to start the morning right. I also had a fantastic lunch at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, which was a highlight of my stay. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the beach for a refreshing break and very close to the city centre, where I enjoyed a quick shopping stroll between meetings. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, ensuring everything went smoothly throughout my stay and making me feel genuinely well looked after. Highly recommended!

I had such a wonderful time during my stay at Hotel Coco in Felixstowe! From the moment I arrived, everything was just perfect. My room was amazing—beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The breakfast was superb, with plenty of delicious options to start the day right. I also enjoyed a fantastic lunch at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, which was a real treat. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk to the beach, where I spent a lovely bit of time relaxing, and also very close to the city centre, perfect for a quick shopping stroll. A big thank you to stellar Dave and lovely Kelly for making my stay even more special—their warmth and hospitality truly stood out. Overall, my visit was absolutely delightful, and I genuinely can’t wait to be back. Highly recommend!

Best hotel I’ve stayed in Felixstowe , beautiful decoration all round, great food, comfortable rooms, 10 minutes walk to town & beach, very friendly staff

Nowherein the adverton this hotel does it say that there are renovations going on. we were traveling around the country and we realised Felixstowe would be our next stop. So booked through Exspedia. We cheched in about 3 pm , realised there was a skip outside but thought nothing of it. We returnrd to the hotel to watch the Rugby world cup about 8pm. There was alot of noise coming from either above us in the loft or the roof to thr side. It sounded like ducting was being draged about and fitted together.After an hour i went down to reception, i asked when the building work would stop as it was very noisy in our room ( 216) There isnt any going on she said , i assured her there was and she said she would check and get back to me. 5 minuteslater my mobile rang and the same receptionistasked if i was Mr Jackson and when would i be checking in. I said i have and i have just spoken to you !! Oh she said it says here you have not checked in yet. Nothing about the building work , the noise carried on till exactly 10 pm . Reception did not ring back nothing was said in the morning ,so here i am . Room was obviouslynext on the list to be renovated. tired ,mould on the mastic around the bath. The room was small with a 3/4 size bed . Not in my opinion worth the £140 we paid for it . very disappointed

Having had a marketing email saying they were doing afternoon tea for £14.95 during July, I popped across the road (literally) to try it out, weirdly at 1230. Well they are closed for lunch on Mondays, so a growing lad has to eat. Closed for lunch, but they are doing afternoon teas at lunchtime? Even more odd, I couldn't book on the Marco Pierre White website because the restaurant was showing as closed, but had to do it by telephone. Very strange. Having played petanque on the Felixstowe promenade all morning, I was more than ready for liquid refreshment and some sustenance. A bit of company would have been nice, but she was off watching one of her granddaughters perform some ballet. I was greeted by 18 year old Alfie, who's been here for four years (since Brook Hotel days), who was behind the bar (not a customer in sight) and told me he'd set me up at a table in the restaurant. Well I could have had ANY table, because I was the only client. Which is sad, because the selection of sandwiches, cakes and a scone with strawberry jam and pot of clotted cream were all really excellent. Sandwiches included salmon, egg, ham and mustard and three others. Cakes were especially good, the chocolate and lemon ones especially worthy of note. My liquid refreshments included two pots of Teapigs Darjeeling tea, a tasty macaron, a jug of iced water, linen napkin (I did NOT eat that!) and everything else for just £14.95. An absolute bargain in a beautifully appointed restaurant. Alfie not only served the afternoon tea, he cleared away and, presumably, was the one who switched the musak off after presenting me with the bill, which I took to be a very heavy hint that it was time to go. Highly recommended.

I feel from the website pictures, I was missold a deluxe double, the room was small, the bed was a standard double, there was no seating area, the carpet was dirty and bathroom is in need of a refurbishment, also, the window will not stay open. On arrival I went to reception to raise the issues, no other rooms were available, I was advised this room was classed as a deluxe double (room 216). with no air in the room, a small bed, no manager around, on a saturday at check in, we decided to leave, paying over the odds to stay at the premier inn. I asked for the manager to call when he arrived but did not hear till the next day, I am still waiting to hear from the main manager, but emails are ignored and still waiting on a refund. This is the only hotel I’ve ever left, you are false advertising and trying to market a bodged refurb as luxury when it’s far from it.
