We were greeted with a welcome drink and were kindly looked after throughout our stay. The ample parking, spotless rooms and bathrooms, and generous breakfast are further pluses. Highly recommended."

"This hotel should be reclassified… not a 4 star by any means. The staff were inattentive, especially at breakfast ( coffee was the only thing which wasn’t self service and my goodness the hassle to ask for a coffee, get the attention of the waitress etc wasn’t worthwhile. Our room was tired, actually exhausted, paintwork shabby, bed basic, old pictures, poor lighting. We stayed three nights and the wheelie bin below our balcony remained on its side for our whole visit with its contents hanging out. The hotel needs refurbishment, they should be ashamed of the breakfast offered,it surely doesn’t take a lot to have fresh bread rather than warmed up hard rolls and no butter. Weirdly the hotel is obviously a food hotspot in the evening with a bustling restaurant so they can do something good… but not for hotel guests."

"Having read Nicola C’s review here, amazingly we had a very similar experience. The only positive thing I can think of to say is that the location of the hotel is “quite” good. I must mention the air conditioning in my room. It was well over 30C whilst we were there. Our room comprised two rooms, divided by a thick wall. The inadequate air conditioning unit was in the second room, not the one with the bed in it! Sleeping therefore wasn’t comfortable, mattresses were like rocks, the room had nowhere to put anything, the bathroom was uncomfortably small with a tiny shower cabinet. I could go on but you probably get the gist. As Nicola said, breakfast was a complete joke - but not a funny one. Serving lukewarm coffee and orange squash for breakfast in Italy should be a capital offence. Fano isn’t blessed with a huge number of 5* hotels but seriously, anywhere else must be better than this. "Average business hotel. No solution that makes you say WOW. details in the room that in my opinion do not deserve 4 stars (inside of the broken wardrobe-garden sofa used as a piece of furniture) Breakfast without particular good pieces, without praise and without infamy. The only negative note: staff at the reception devoid of any initiative: only after a lot of insistence for information on a nearby rent car were they redirected us to a presumable Maggiore office next to Saipem (a company opposite the hotel). Too bad it hasn't existed for 4 years. Modern hotel suitable for short, unpretentious stays that can improve customer relations"

"The Villa is gorgeous, very charming and the room was a great size, very clean and well decorated. The grounds are lovely as well. Friendly, warm and welcoming staff. Breakfast was very nice with good choice. The pool was quite small and no lift so getting up the stairs with lots of luggage was a bit difficult."
