Sunfish Room

The property is just a block from the lakefront and makes it so easy to enjoy the beach area. Fairport Harbor is a quaint little town with many great places to visit...all within walking distance of this property. We even took advantage of a Friday night festival in the park. The room was very clean and parking was easy. The mattress could use replacing but we thought enough of this place to come back for a second time.

Nice efficiency unit. Room was clean and well-maintained. Accurately described in the listing. No complaints. A few restaurants/shops nearby. Close to the beach.

Everything was perfect! Super cute room? Beds are comfortable? Lighting is amazing! Will definitely stay again if we are up this way!!

I contacted the owner before providing this review because as a STR owner myself I wanted to give them an opportunity to discuss. I have never had to give this place a bad review previously and my stays in other units of the building were great. This particular room was bad. It was clean and adequately equipped but there was a horrible fish/old seafood smell. Almost unbearable. Like someone hid a box of crab legs under the bed and they had been sitting there for weeks.To make matters worse, the heat was too high. The room temperature was about 85 degrees with no way to adjust the temperature - No thermostat.On top of that, we could not open the window because the downstairs permanent tenants stood outside that window all night long smoking and partying.It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a short term rental.I did message the owner and let them know about the concerns and Zach told me that he would call me to discuss. He never did, hence the negative review.

Clean and nice; easy check-in. Only downside was no couch or comfy chairs to lounge/watch TV. Close to beach and restaurants. Host communicated well.

Only complaint is that we didn’t stay longer! We spent a quick night while we were in Cleveland for a concert. In the AM we made our way down to the public beach… very nice. Perfect simple and clean room/space for two. Definitely will be back.

Great little place to stay! This cozy little room has everything you might need. It was quiet and well equipped, and very clean. Also, Zach was very responsive to any of my questions. It was easy to gain access and the best location ever. We will be back!

Overnight stay This property was accurate to description, walking distance to Fairport beach park, cute little downtown, close to Headlands Beach, dinner at Pickle Bills is a must. We will stay again.
