The location is excellent - just off the busy, noisy streets but just a short walk from central station and the town centre. It is clean, comfy bed and a helpful reception. Thr aircon was not really working but they had provided a fan and it was cool enough.

The staff didn't really provide a decent service. Late check in, didn't advise or communicate upfront re cost for pool ( eventhough it did not state this when booking as a guest) I also used the bar and the server didn't know what the g& t I had ordered. They gave me a glass of ice with just pure gin, I had to ask for the tonic water. We had one pleasant staff member check us out and let us store our bags for a couple of hours. Clean and lovely rooms but service really needs to improve. Also it needs to be made clear re extra cost for pool usage as a hotel guest :(

No hot water in shower and water would not drain. Lots of limescale etc in bathroom. Room very tatty, furniture very damaged, paint and skirting boards all very poor. No sleep due to poor mattress. The springs poking up everywhere causing bad back and sides.

Booked 3 nights and 2 days stay. Checked in almost past midnight. Barely stayed at the hotel as was out from morning to night. No hassles though, friendly front office staff. Only one issue. They kept 2 fancy 150 or 200ml water bottles in the room on day1. Why so much of luxury? 😂. Jokes apart. Be practical. They should be keeping a min 2 bottles of 750 ml like most international hotels provide (complimentary). Rest most nic nacs are not kept there in the room and one can order as they need so no complaints on that. Pls keep sufficient standard brand water bottle. No one wants to call room service just for water. I finished it when reached in the middle of the night. Nothing left for morning tea. ... Hotel location is very close to st.james cathedral and city center.

We stayed for just one night. A much better experience than we had expected, given some of the recent reviews. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was also very clean and had a lovely,spacious walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Our only negative was that the car park was absolutely full when we arrived at 3:30pm … and the staff checking us in couldn’t have cared less!

The Mercure is centrally located 5 mins walk from the centre of the city and the Cathedral. Our room on the third floor was clean and serviceable although some of the furniture had seen better days. Car parking is available and costs £15 per day which is cheaper than the public car parking across the road.  Families note, pool costs £10/adult. (Children free)

Really convenient for Exeter Cathedral

I was expected for more, as is an exclusive hotel kids crying at the breakfast and parenting doing nothing the rooms need more cleaning, too much dust reception service poor

整體上對客房滿意, 但如果可以改善淋浴時的水力就更好. 現時水力非常非常之慢, 沖涼沖得唔爽. 酒店前台員工態度好好.停車位也充足.
